Door not closing properly. Error msg "door"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have a huge concern with the door apparently NOT closing. The LCD displays the word "door" and the unit can't be used until we open and close the door again to bypass the safety switch. There is a huge gap that doesn't look right at the door hinge. It looks as if the door doesn't seat properly. Of course that being the case, it is a serious safety hazard for the door not to close and the switch being bypassed. That would mean there is microwave radiation exposure. This "door" message happens EVERY day. Whirlpool says there is NOTHING more they can do.

Great basic microwave

It was an open box first one was dented brought back to Best Buy they sent me a new one for 2$ less looks like it still had a small dent on side but not enough to Take it back a second time. We have had it a month now and it does warm everything we place in it. It is inexpensive and I can’t justify having a convection oven and would probably never learn to Use it.

Our microwave died and we quickly realized how much we depended on it. We needed to replace it quickly and found that there were very few available to choose from right now. This is a good basic model and it was also on sale.

I was surprised to see that this was actually in stock because I had expected a shipping backlog. Pleasant surprise! It’s working great so far
