Great product for the money and easy to install personally

The Whirlpool brand has pretty good electronics. We purchased this microwave about a year ago to replace a broken Whirlpool one that was anywhere between 8-10 years old. This item must have been defective because it broke 3 months in. Luckily it was under warranty and they repaired it. Since the repair we haven't had any additional issues. I would recommend getting the extended warranty if purchased.

Easy enough to install, and very user friendly. I love this microwave, it was definitely worth purchasing after my last one went kaput.

Nice simple to use and effective microwave. It has multiple setting from defrost, re-heat, and cooking. The easy to use guide is inside and quite handy.

We have purchased 4 of these over the last two years and have been happy with all of them Two for a duplex and later replaced one because of a fire and one for a new house.

Like this microwave! Works good and it is easy to use.Also like that the light under it gives plenty of light. My prior one didn’t.

As ordered i am happy with it. It appears to be a quality appliance. I haven't owned it that long so time will tell but it has been my experience that Whirlpool is a good product.

Works great and was affordable (for the microwave). However, Best Buy wanted to charge me $200 to install a $215 microwave. I think the installation charge is ridiculously outrageous.

That's a decent microwave that looks awesome. This is the 2 nd one we purchased. The original died within 3 years of soft use. We hardly use a microwave but need something filling the hole over the range and this piece of small appliance looks pretty good.

So far the microwave is perfect for our family. It is bigger and faster then our old one. I really appreciated the professional manner of the Geek Squad. Thank you

Self-installation of an OTR microwave can take longer and require more planning/work if it's not your first time. Whirlpool does proide a very helpful paper template that helps you with getting the correct measurements for your mount. It took me dad and I about an hour to get it right (and luckily on the first try). Docking off a star for not having the quick start option (i.e. pushing 1 automatically starts with 1 min cook timer) like most modern microwaves have now. Lighting and fan work great. I also really like how the template makes sure you create a cut-out large enough to not only feed the exhaust fan but also provide easy access to the motor/filter should that ever need replaced -- this way you don't have to unmount the entire unit just to get to it.
