The heat & moisture from the stove rises up into the door and damages the main board. After buying this 2 years ago, I'm now paying for a $300 replacement door, with a near-guarantee I'll have to replace it again or get a new microwave in a couple years.

This Whirlpool product looks nice but overcooks one end and undercooks the other, my wife is not happy.

Falling apart after 3 years.

Overall it has been a great unit until today. Door is falling apart from the inside, bits of plastic falling to the floor. Door hasn’t been closing tightly. Unit not operating. Out of warranty. Go figure. Will try and reach out to whirlpool but not holding my breath there. Spent close to $500 for less than 3 years of operation.

Disappointing, not worth the money

First, it seems a lot less powerful than my previous 15 year old Microwave. Then the auto cook items are very limited, it does not even have a choice to defrost bread or muffins. All these functions are also difficult to access, you have to go through arrows and select. Finally the convection part which is the reason why i bought this model is not great. Able to cook only very small portions and it is not performing well. All together, all i get in this microwave is the same thing than a basic model for half the price.

I wouldn't expect a nearly 2 year old Microwave to have these issues. unfortunately this is longer under warranty but i would shy away from future purchases

Backlit just for some controls, but not the most used ones! Imposible to use in a dark kitchen, you have to turn the kitchen's lights first.

If I'm trying to turn on the light, that means the room may be dark. The button for the light should glow or be backlit. Oh, and the entire thing is dead just shy of 10 months of using. I'll update my review pending how this is handled.
