The number pad, as with all the microwaves I seen were cheap plastic. That product is particularly hard to keep clean.

Unfortunately I wasn't sure as what it does is cut out after a couple of minutes. It still ran, but I noticed it got quieter. Then noticed it stopped heating at that point. The magnetron was cutting out. Best but won't do anything so now have to go through manufacturer.

Extended warranty 2 weeks or more waiting time.

Actually 10 days. Before extended warranty expires. Right now, it's in the process of being repaired. Which I don't want repaired. I want a new one. We'll see what happens.
