Bought this microwave as it matches our stove. We renovated our kitchen and got rid of the 40 year old hood vent (no exterior exhaust vent) and put this in instead. Looks nice, works well, heats food the same as pretty much every other microwave i've ever used.

Great microwave. Difficult to get the color anywhere else. Best Buy always meets our needs.

As far as microwaves go, it'll do the job and I have no complaints on it doing it's job. Installation was a beast of a task and will need at least two able-bodied adults to complete. My problem is with the nightlight on the bottom. It burns out quickly and that is a big deal for us because we want to use it all night. Like you should be able to use a "nightlight" to do. But it isn't led, has no led equivalent that you can buy, and will burn out in less than a month of normal use. Luckily, it is a quick switch and a cheap bulb.

Nice microwave, matches all our other appliances and I love the fingerprint resistance! The only downfall is that the light shines back on the top of the oven panel, not the actual stovetop.

This is a good microwave. Nothing special but gets the job done. It has all of the features I wanted in a microwave; timer, over the stove light / installation, automatic cooking schedules and stainless steel look finish. I am quite satisfied with this product.

I recently had to replace my over the range microwave and took about 6 weeks to research. After many back and forth comparisons, I finally decided to go with the WhirlPool 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over the Range fingerprint resistant microwave, and I couldn't be happier. It was easy to install and works like a charm. I really like how the fan is automatically on when using, and turns off when it's done as well. I know that some people found it to be too dim when using the lights, specifically because the lights are in the bottom back of the unit, but I didn't find this problematic. So, so far so good! It's not too loud, and it works very well for the money I spent.

Great over the range microwave. Easy to install. It actually isn’t really “smudge proof” so the extra $20 for that finish isn’t worth it, but it otherwise lives up to the Whirlpool name.

Nice looking oven and works fine. Kind of surprised it doesn’t have LED light bulbs though. But, not a big deal. I hope it lasts as long as my last one.

Works great and is so easy to use, not to mention I also bought the matching refrigerator and the pair looks really nice in my modern kitchen!

From the size and the power to the auto fan when you are cooking.....only good things to say. Have only had it for not quite a month so time will tell how reliable it is.

Simple and elegant. Does everything you want and more.

Its as basic as it gets. heats up pretty well. the door sounds like a can when opened and closed which i think is normal for basic microwaves. Even though it replaced another whirlpool it wasnt a direct replacement. i still had to drill holes. my real issue is the fan automatically turns on when it detects heat from the range/oven and cant be turned off. i wish there was a switch. All of my appliances are whirlpool and they have all lasted over 15 yrs and some are still working. the previous microwave lasted for 12 years hopefully this will also.

Like this microwave! Works good and it is easy to use.Also like that the light under it gives plenty of light. My prior one didn’t.

Simple and effective. Has all the features that higher priced models offer. It is nice looking, too. I only wish the buttons were backlit, but, most microwaves don't have that feature.

Was stuck on getting Maytag for my kitchen suite but when my microwave arrived it was damaged. Went to exchange at store and none was available was referred by employee to get this model and love it.

The unit has shown no issues since purchased (~8months ago) It was OK to install. Quieter than the old GE microwave. Door is easy to shut and open.

Easy to install and great functionality. Microwave is a microwave but we get these for our flips, never an issue. EASY
