Beautiful design and great layout. Like it much more than others I looked at that were much more expensive. Keeps food at the perfect temp. More than ample room for 2-4 people. Nice to have the perfect ice maker and water in the door without opening. Highly recommended.

The refrigerator is very stylish. I like that it can automatically measure the amount of water you take at the touch of a button. It's nice to have the ice maker inside the door vs part of the freezer where food is stored. For a smaller unit, Whirlpool utilized the space well. The ice maker is slightly loud, but you get used to it. We have only had the unit for about 2 months, but so far we are happy with this purchase.

The refrigerator has been good so far. It’s a little louder than our previous Kenmore refrigerator, but it does not show fingerprints too badly and the counter depth is great. We had a major problem with delivery however. It was purchased in store and delivery set up for a specific date. When the date arrived we heard nothing. We finally called after lunch to inquire about delivery time. We were told it was not coming and would not be delivered for another week! We had already moved our other fridge to our basement and therefore had no refrigerator in our kitchen for over a week.

Was very quiet at first than started being a little noisy by humming. When you opened the door, it quit. It took some getting used to the shelves not being as long as our last refrigerator but we have managed. The door shelves should be made so you could fit either shelf on the door. I like the three drawers and their sizes. There is not butter shelf and that is strange and has been a challenge.

It’s just a refrigerator. The only one I could find to fit in my space. It’s noisy, and didn’t come with enough freezer shelves. I had to order 2 extras on my own. Also, the shelves in the refrigerator section are not adjustable.

I love this refrigerator but if you’re a family or more than three, you might need to pick something else kind of small, but it works wonderfully and it looks beautiful, too very modern. Only thing I didn’t like is I had to wait a month for delivery just to drop off not even an install.

This is my third Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator-freezer combo. Generally I have been happy with this brand. My complaint is with the lack of freezer shelves provided. It was missing at least two shelves. I called customer service and found out that it was not a mistake. According to the agent, Whirlpool does not include all shelves in order to provide "options for storage'. HUH!. I had to pile my frozen foods onto two shelves which caused those items to slide out when the door was opened, And there was a massive about of space that was left unused. (There is only so much that can efficiently be piled on a shelf.) There was no option to purchase the missing shelves! I lived with this mess until I could no longer handle it. So I was able to find shelves of a similar width on Amazon but the length short. Anyway my freezer is now somewhat organized and easier to find what I need without everything sliding out. Whirlpool should correct this defect!

We purchased this refrigerator to basically update our current, perfectly working 15 year old GE Profile SXS. We chose Whirlpool to match our other existing appliances, and they are rated very well. The issue I have is it is supposed to be an upgraded refrigerator, latest electronics, and counter depth, which is awesome. To keep cost down, it appears that Whirlpool has eliminated spill proof shelving, butter door storage, freezer and refrigerator shelves, temperature controlled meat drawers and such...… We looked at competitive brands and pricing with the above stated features, but felt we would be sacrificing durability. It was kind of like buying a new car with crank down windows, and an AM Radio with cassette deck. If we were stepping back in time, this refrigerator would be an awesome purchase, but when the wifes first impression of it is "it looks like a piece of junk", maybe Whirlpool should rethink their design. The exterior looks nice, and we did this for future home resale, so that being said, will be someone else's issue.

My previous refrigerator died after running for over 30 years. And while I wasn't eager to spend $ to buy another refrigerator, I was excited that I had an "excuse" to get a new one that would have new features including a front-accessible water and ice dispenser! After considerable research I chose this Whirlpool side-by-side model. It's not quite as quiet as my previous unit, but I can live with that. And it is nice to have ice and water "on tap" - something I use daily. But, there's a fatal catch... Soon after I got it, I started noticing that my cold water (I dispense ice and water into a metal vacuum bottle that I carry with me out-and-about) tasted funny. I washed the bottle (again), and dumped out all the ice and let the ice dispenser refill. But the funny taste continued. I wondered if the water filter might be defective, so I bought another one. But the taste persisted. And I began to notice a smell in the interior of both compartments of the refrigerator itself. You should also know that I'm not much for cooking, so most of the things I keep in my refrigerator aren't the kind that can "go bad" and cause odors. I have lots of frozen food, bottled drinks, etc., but not much in the way of fresh veggies for example. Nevertheless, I checked carefully for anything that might be causing an odor and threw it out. I also put a box of baking soda in the refrigerator, and ordered/installed the optional air filter. I've had this model for over six months now, but nothing has helped, and in fact the odor has just gotten worse. It's clearly NOT a food odor - but rather some kind of chemical/plastic smell. And it permeates anything kept in either the refrigerator or freezer compartment. If I buy some groceries (eg. milk, eggs, butter, etc.) for a friend at the store near my house and put them in my Whirlpool refrigerator for an hour or two before taking them to her house, as soon as I sit them down on her counter she announces "You must have brought those from your house - I can smell your refrigerator!" -- The bottom line is that this Whirlpool refrigerator has turned into the biggest appliance mistake I've ever made! I'm not sure what I'll do, but it's become unusable for anything that's not airtight and sealed in glass or plastic. And the ice made in the freezer is useless since it makes any drink you put it into taste foul. I'll be going back to Best Buy to ask if I have any recourse, but I doubt they will do anything to help me. and I would absolutely not tell a friend to buy this model, or even a stranger!

It’s a beautiful refrigerator but it’s the noisiest one I’ve ever owned. I’ve had it for 4 days now and It hums all the time, the water filling the ice maker can be heard two rooms away and sounds like a faucet running in the kitchen. I don’t know how it can be energy efficient when it makes noise all day. Our 12 year old Frigidaire rarely made any noise and when it did it was very faint sounds. A few others things worth mentioning...It also seems that I may be missing a door bin due to the wide amount of unused space on the door and the cost of a new bin is outrageous. The handle on the freezer keeps coming off on the bottom. I’ve tightened it back on at least 5 times now and it still does it. I wanted to love this refrigerator but honestly I’m thinking about returning it due to the annoyances of the noise and the door handle.

Purchased at end of January. I am giving this a 2 star because it cools & freezes. However, it sounds like an old tractor for 15-30 seconds when I open the refrigerator door. I called service in April & Technician popped open a box in top left of the refrigerator, wiggled a wire and explained to me that this was a great refrigerator with a 3 stage compressor and that's the way they all sound. It has been 6 weeks and I just can't stand the noise which is embarrassing to hear. I've rescheduled another service call. This is stil within the 1 year warranty.

Very good refrigerator that fits perfectly in my space and looks good. I could use one more shelf for the freezer and one more for the refrigerator door, but otherwise is space efficient. A few parts seem cheap and don't quite fit, but don't interfere with usefulness.

For the most part, this counter-depth fridge works well. The problem, as with other reviews, is that the wiring harness to the freezer door is garbage. Within 6 months of owning it, this wire was severed because the harness is both too short resulting in excessive tension and poorly protected against shearing forces from the hinge. A technician from a local company repaired it, only for it to break again two months ago. Even with this repair, the ice maker no longer works. Completely unacceptable for an $1800 device. Additionally, the light in the freezer takes up an enormous amount of space. It's very difficult to fit anything in that spot. If ice and freezer space are important to you, there are better options out there. We would not recommend this refrigerator.

A little loud at times but overall excellent refridgerator. Recent purchase so cannot talk about longevity.

Bought this fridge July 2020 with the extra warranty ( glad i did). Good features, nice looking fridge but extremely noisy. Had to have it looked at several times and parts replaced. And still loud and annoying throughout the day and night. Patiently waiting for it to die so i can buy a better quality fridge.

I truly love my purchase!!! It’s sad to say but true that this is my first brand new refrigerator. Service was professional and efficient, now I’m looking to upgrade my kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Works great but the way they did the stainless around the edges of the doors is not good. Like the cubed ice from the ice maker.

Excellent counter depth refrigerator to fit in smaller space

I love my new stainless refrigerator. Very nice looking and great value for the sale price. So far so good and looking forward to my electric bill being reduced due to energy efficiency. I recommend as a good buy.
