So far it has been great only took a couple hours after it was hooked up to cool down . The door shelves are huge and can hold your milk creamers all the tall bottle fit in the door with multiple of them.

This was one of a few that would fit the space we have. It runs louder than our old fridge. There are only a few freezer shelves but several places for them. We'll need to see if we can order additional shelves.

I love the ice and water dispenser. I will never buy a fridge without it.

Love this new Fridge. It makes my kitchen beautiful and inside is fantastic.

I've owned this for almost 3 years and I've had freezing issues the entire time in the refrigerator. It says not to block the air flow, which I don't, but basically if I have anything on the top shelf, it causes things elsewhere in the fridge to freeze. Basically making the top shelf very limited use! 2) the water pressure drastically declined. Had a repair guy come out and fixed what he could, but a month later and after a brand new filter, the water dispenser still doesn't work. It's not the water pressure because without the filter the water dispenses fine. It's something about the water filter itself that doesn't work and I've even been using the filters directly from whirlpool...not some cheap knock off. Lastly, the freezer is very inefficient with its shelving. Lots of volume, but you have to stack your food because there are not enough shelves. Stacking food in a side by side freezer generally, doesn't work well and ends up being a mess. Luckily I have a second stand alone freezer so it's not a huge deal for me, but for someone that doesn't have that, I would never buy this fridge.

Had nothing but problems with this refrigerator. Had to have the freezer door replaced after a year because the ice maker quit working, which was due to the wiring getting all mangled because of the design. Then the refrigerator wouldn't get cold after a little less than two years. It was super noisy as well. Thankfully I had the warranty they had to replace it. I got a Samsung instead and I love it.

Just what I needed. There were way more expensive models but this model is perfect side by side w water and ice in the door.

Great refrigerator, quiet, fits well in the counter-depth space and looks good. Water filter makes the water taste wonderful.

This is the second time i had this delivered. The first one was very noisy. Second one is also noisy and both of the ice cube makers clump the ice together. In order to turn it off, you have to take out the icemaker container, shut it off and put container back in. I have never had a fridge with the noise.

This fridge looks like it came from a small amateur production line; both from craftsmanship standpoint and the material used. To make things worse, not long after purchase I got the message to change the water filter, seriously? my old fridge didn't require that for six years. If some other reviewers complained about the noise that it makes when it's operating, that's true.

Seriously - the first thing I noticed about this fridge, which I otherwise love, is that Whirlpool totally skimped on the shelving. Just seems like a really transparent ploy to make a few extra bucks.

I've had this refrigerator for about 3 years. At the 3 year mark the ice maker gave out. Additionally, the front panels are beginning to rust even though recommended SS products are used. Agree with the other posters re: shelves and freezer size. The shelves can break easily and are expensive to replace.

I would not purchase this item again. Shortly after the refrigerator was installed, the water dispenser stopped working, which required replacing the freezer door. After a long wait we finally received the replacement door. But when the door was unboxed, we discovered the door was damaged. A second replacement door was reordered and another long wait. After finally getting a good door, we discovered a water leak which required a service repair person to come out. We finally had a good working refrigerator. Three years later, the ice maker stopped working. Thinking that all that was required was to replace the ice maker unit which I ordered from Whirlpool at a cost of $150, and non-returnable. After installing the new ice maker, it failed to work. Same problem. At this time a repair service was scheduled. After a check of the freezer and the icemaker by the service technician, he quickly diagnosed the cause of the problem. The wires at the bottom of the freezer door had been severed from simply opening and closing the freezer door. We were then informed that the freezer door would have to be replaced to correct two little broken wires. The estimated cost was nearly $1,500 – almost the cost of a new refrigerator!!! The repair tech suggested we contact Whirlpool to ask them to replace the door at their expense and I would pay for the labor to have it installed since the wire failure was due to the design of the wiring harness. The next day, I contacted Whirlpool. Even though Whirlpool is aware of the design issue, they were totally unwilling to offer any assistance in replacing the freezer door. I requested to speak to management and got the same programmed response that the door was no longer covered under warranty. Had we purchased an extended warranty then it would be covered. We were also told that they could not make ANY exception because it was Corporate policy. My argument was that their design of the exposed wires being pulled each time the freezer door was opened caused the failure. This again fell on deaf ears. Now I was looking at a $1,500 expense to correct their design flaw of some simple broken wires. Whirlpool did, however, offer a 15% discount on a new refrigerator. They were basically telling me to throw away a 3 ½ year old refrigerator over two little broken wires! Why would I want to buy another Whirlpool refrigerator that is probably destined to experience the same failure. I am very disappointed that Whirlpool does not take responsibility for their poor design. My only choice, to avoid another major expense, is to try to repair the wires myself. I have nothing to lose.

I love this refrigerator and am so happy with my purchase. Installation was quick and Sean and Bryan were so very nice and helpful.

Overall happy with my frig but the icemaker stopped working. And to repair it means replacing the freezer door. Which costs about as much as the refrigerator itself. Trying to figure out if I got the extended warrenty and if I did, does it cover this. Item is just at 4 years old, minimal use since I live alone. SO if you are getting it make sure to find out does extended warrenty cover this and get the extended warrenty.

I WAS REALLY SURPRISED AT HOW PROFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL THE INSTALLERS WERE THIS TIME.

JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK!!! This thing is garbage! Had it a few years and had a lot of issues!!! It would never close properly with the gasket not sealing properly and all the food would thaw out and go bad. I never knew if it was bad or not due to is sometimes would shut and sometimes would not without knowing if it was sealed!!!! had to throw away the entire contents several times. And because it would not seal properly the stainless steel would collet condensate and continuously stain and eventually started to rust!!!! The final nail in the coffin of this piece of garbage was the compressor just decided not to run any longer with no signs of issuers. I opened the back cardboard plate (first clue this is garbage) and found everything seemed fine but the compressor won't engage! I studied the issue as i have some knowledge of these units and checked a few relays and the control module for the compressor itself and everything was flimsy junk!! So, I decided not to put money into it by throwing the parts cannon at it since the fridge has so many other issues.

We got this fridge a year ago. A few days after we got it, we noticed that the top shelf froze everything and the bottom 2 shelves had rotting food. Whirlpool replaced the fridge twice for us but each still the same problem as they would not give is a different model. We have had whirlpool technicians come out sever times but they are unable to fix it- which they cannot. And they also refuse to give us a different fridge/model. So does Bestbuy. Each company says it’s the others problem. We have lost hundreds of dollars in food in the fridge due to freezer burn and rotting/mold. We keep meat in our fridge and have 4 kids so always worry about food safety. DO NOT BUY THID FRIDGE!! We bought 3 other whirlpool appliances from Best Buy at the same time which are great. Makes use think twice about buying whirlpool/best-buy next time because of the fridge.

Worst refrigerator I ever bought. Loud as hell, called Whirpool and they said that's how it is and if you don't like it take it back. Also freezes top shelf item randomly, and no, the back air hole is NOT blocked. Ice maker stopped working right after the warrantee ran out.
