Mine quit before I was ready to get a new one & I really like this. It is quite basic but that is not a problem. The only thing I have not gotten use to is the silverware rack on the door. A bit difficult to fill & unfill.

Whirlpool, Maytag and Amana are all the same....just pushing out the same junk under multiple names.

Last week it started leaking under the door. We contacted BestBuy who provided a Whirlpool repair number. The repairman came out yesterday and was surprised that this model dishwasher was actually built in 2018. He could only assume that it got lost in some warehouse and they finally dug it out to sell. Even though it was still in the box when it was delivered, you would think BestBuy would have reduced the price for a 2 year old model. I'll know to ask next time I buy something from BestBuy.

Ok washer

Unfortunately regardless of heated dry or not this washer doesn't do any better and leaves the dishes soaking wet still. Also it seems quite loud.

We fell in love with the silverware basket mounted on the door with our old whirlpool - when it needed replacement it was challenging to find another - so glad we did!

It leaves your dishes wet. If you want dishes to be dried in the washer, get a different model.

Posted .Dear GJconsumer: Thank you for taking the time to write regarding your Dishwasher. Feedback from our customers is an important source of information. We regret that you are not totally satisfied with your dishwasher. We manufacture several different models with various feature and accessory designs while trying to provide appliances that are versatile in meeting the needs of our customers and adhering to increasing governmental restrictions. Current dishwasher heating cycles have been cut short due to standards set by the Department of Energy. To overcome this, we recommend using rinse aid to help sheet off extra water. First, fill the compartment will rinse aid until full. Next, turn the dial under the rinse aid cap from 2 (the factory preset) to 5 or 6. This will allow the rinse aid to cover the dishes and form to the inside cabinet. Turn it back down after a few loads, and you will notice a big difference the amount of water in the unit and on the dishes.
