It stopped working two months following the installation. Water in the machine that couldn’t get out. I used Best Buy installation service.

Bought this dishwasher in May but just installed it. Our last was so loud we would have to turn up the tv while using it. This thing is so quiet we keep checking to make sure it's working. IT IS working!! Cleans very well with the separate wash arms for each rack. It also dries very good. I read reviews saying it does not dry well and these are either wrong, fake, or they don't read instructions. If you use a drying agent like it says to do, the drying is awesome. So far we have only had this in use for a week but we love it compared to our last dishwasher.

Chose this model specifically because it was recommended as quiet. That’s a lie, it’s awful. Very unhappy with this purchase.

The dishwasher fits and looks much nicer than my old one that was 20 years old. It has less features but it has everything i usually used anyway. Surprisingly quiet! Our house is an open concept so that is nice to find out. Dishes came out clean and dry first time trying it out, i did use a rinse agent and powdered dw soap.. Some of my taller glasses and cups fit in the top rack now. I did a lot of researching before deciding on this one, Ive never used whirlpool before but after reading lot of reviews on different whirlpool dishwashers I felt confident this was a good buy to replace my old kenmore. This appears to be a newer model as there was no reviews anywhere on it yet. The older model simular to this one had good reviews though. I like that I can move the silverware basket around and I can open the tops if the silverware doesnt fit in the slots and just lay them in there. Very pleased with my purchase of this a few days ago.

Replacing the circulation pump on my 20 year old dishwasher was not an option. This purchase was well worth it. Ordered via the website and picked it up the following morning. Zero problems or challenges installing it. Instructions were well written and covered all aspects of an install. Ran the first load and was truly surprised how quiet it ran. Dishes were spotless. I'd highly recommend this item.

Dishwasher needs frequent cleaning and gets moldy quickly. Very disappointed.

So for the price I paid this appeared to be the best option, I searched online a lot. And better yet, it went on sale after I ordered it so Best Buy issued me a credit for the difference. I did the installation myself and compared it to the 20 year old Kenmore I was replacing. The Whirlpool is not as solidly built, a lot more cost efficiencies obviously, lots more plastic and thin gauge metal. There is also almost ZERO room to work under the dishwasher once you get it into the cabinet, so hopefully you can get everything connected before you slide it in. The water inlet is 3/4" - not 3/8" like your water lines under the sink are. This dishwasher does not include an adapter, so you'll need that. And the only way to get one usually is a "kit" with other things you don't need, so add 20 bucks to the price of the dishwasher. Drying aid - they harp on the need for this in the owner's manual. I ran it the first time empty and in fact it was full of condensation on the inside at the end. So, if you had a dishwasher you were using only detergent in you'd better plan on that drying aid stuff in addition now if you want dry dishes. Sound - I saw a couple comments about the noise level. This unit is no quieter than any other dishwasher. It's the same as the old one it replaced. There is a big "blanket" of insulation that comes with it, which is not sized to fit it and not properly set up to secure it when you slide it into place. I had to put some tape near the edges and cram it into the cabinet space. That blanket thing is probably an attempt to cut sound down, it makes it not unreasonably loud but not whisper quiet either.

I needed to upgrade a 13yr old Whirlpool dishwasher in a rental condo I own. This new Whirlpool dishwasher is perfect for even a full time house that I live in. Quiet as can be and does a great job cleaning.

The features I really like on this dishwasher: - 1-hr clean cycle because I want them to be done as quickly as possible, regardless of water usage - gray inside tub which doesn't show stains as readily as white - silverware holder on the door, just like my previous d/w, so I knew I wanted this feature again - no cutout holes in the middle of the racks for water sprayers, and it leaves my dishes just as clean. leaves more room for dishes. i must note that i pre-rinse my dishes of all food and most oil before putting them in. Features I don't like: - the filter dome area is always oily after a load so i have to wipe it with a napkin. - standing (dirty) water in filter area, so much that I leave the filter on the rack after a load since I only do dishes once a week and don't want to leave it partially immersed in the standing water. at least the dirty water doesn't smell.

This dishwasher was purchased by our landlord on 7th of September, 2016. Order number - BBY01-787985091300. 1. It didn't work even for 1 year. On July 15th, 2017 this dishwasher just stopped working. We scheduled a service appointment which is still covered by Whirlpool warranty. But this was just the beginning of the worst customer experience ever. 2. On July 22nd, 2017 their technician came, told us that we need to pull it out from our kitchen. We kindly asked him to wait while we can quickly do it right now - he rejected to wait and just went away. Let's say this was our fault and we didn't know what needs to be done initially. 3. Next service appointment was scheduled on August 3rd, 2017. Yes, their time slots are horrible. On that day their technician came, told us that he fixed the issue and immediately left without proper testing of how this dishwasher operates now. When we tried to run a cycle the dishwasher even did not start. We immediately called their service center and asked to call their technician and ask him to come back. Unfortunately, their people are very "fast" and this didn't happen. Well, a new service appointment was scheduled on 15th of August. 4. On 15th of August the same technician came, did some investigation and told us that there is one part in our dishwasher that needs to be replaced, he will order it now and when it will be shipped he'll come back to us and finally fix our dishwasher. 5. A new service appointment was scheduled on 29th of August, 2017. Instead of their visit they called us with the information that the replacement part was not yet delivered and they kindly rescheduled our appointment to a new date - 7th of September. 6. On 7th of September they called us and explained that there was a need to replace 2 parts and they for some reason ordered wrong parts, not compatible with our dishwasher. A new service appointment was scheduled on 18th of September, 2017. 7. On 18th of September we called their Service Center and asked to confirm the appointment. They told us that everything is good and their technician will visit us shortly. We took another day off at work and started to wait. When their technician didn't came to us at the confirmed time we called their Service Center and politely asked for how long we have to wait? And their answer was unbelievable: "Unfortunately, the replacement part that we received for your dishwasher was delivered to us damaged...So, we have to reschedule your service appointment once again". This is what they told us despite the fact that they confirmed that everything is good and on time 2 hours prior the visit. This is a nightmare customer service and a horrible product which didn't lasts for 1 year. There are already 2+ months passed since they are trying to fix the dishwasher and still counting. Our advice is never buy anything from Whirlpool because of their poor quality and the worst customer service ever.

Quiet, efficient and beautiful! I replaced a 20 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. My old one worked great but it was unbelievably loud. This one is whisper quiet and holds much more than the old one. Great price!

Works really well. Has sprayer wands for both racks. Really quiet too.

Got a great price on this great looking and basic dishwasher. I have had no drying issues (as mentioned by other reviews) when I run the regular cycle and use the rinse aid. Cleans great even without fully rinsing dishes. Would buy again. I do wish it had a "Quick Rinse" function like my previous Kenmore that was too expensive to fix.

It looks pretty. It does not seem to Wash well. The cycles on this all take about 4 to 5 hours to wash ONE load. It’s insane! I got this to replace a 20 year old Whirlpool dishwasher that was my baby. Though the racks were disintegrated and the brackets had also crumbled. But everything else still worked perfectly!!! Now I have a new, pretty dishwasher that runs non stop, gives me dirty, wet dishes. Sadly the quality is no longer.

Had to make a second account to update my initial review. Overall this unit was easy to install, and worked fine, as I previously stated. The update here is that this product only lasted me 4 years before the motor gave out. A tech advised me that the lifespan on most dishwashers these days is only about 5-6 years at best, and that the only brand to consistently out perform in terms of longevity is Bosch. At the time of purchase, this was a cheap dish washer listed at only $350, at the time of this review the price has almost doubled to $611.99. Did I get my $350 out of it? Sure I guess. But is it worth paying double for the same experience when better made appliances are within $100? Absolutely not. I just purchased Bosch model# SHE3AR75UC as recommended by several people, I will share a review there as well once I have it installed.

So far the dishwasher has been great and we have had it for about 2 months. For the price it is a great deal. No issues.

Worked all right for the first 4 years. Than the motor went out. If you find the part number, you'll discover that this is a common part used in several different brands including KitchenAid. Between paying for the new part and having someone come out and install it, you may as well buy a better dishwasher. Or if you're feeling adventurous, you could watch a couple of YouTube videos that show you how to replace the motor but it is quite a task for someone that is not a do-it-yourselfer such as myself. Get yourself the 5-year protection plan and you won't be making the same mistake I did.
