put this unit in a rental property we own. so far, there has been no problems. runs very quiet...but seems to take longer than the older unit it replaced to go through all the washing cycles.

Great machine very quite holds a good amount of dishes Can’t comment on pots or pans as I don’t put them in the dish washer ever !

This is my second Whirlpool. I loved the first one, so I got this. The later version has been redesigned so the cutlery tray in the door isn't as accommodating as the older model. Some bowls that fit the older one perfectly now need more room. But, overall, it's a pretty good dishwasher. Please note that I purchased this on line without actually looking at the item. It does make a lot of difference.

We bought this dishwasher for a rental. It's nice looking and has adequate space for dishes . The renters seem to be very happy with it and it works great. No complaints.

Disk washer is great and works well. Installer pried the Formica from the wood and had to be reflux’s.

This has been a wonderful dishwasher. I've had it for almost 2 years and haven't had a single issue. It's quiet and cleans my dishes. Several different options to choose from when starting the dishwasher. I love this dishwasher

Excellent purchase for the cost. It is pretty quiet for 55 dcb, It is plastic inside, but it really functions well.

We had it since 2019, and it never washed well compared to other ones we had. Bu that is OK. We have patience to rewash some dishes, even if we lightly wash them before we even put them into this dishwasher... The biggest issue I have now, is it stopped working after 3 years, and the cause of that is the water pump that circulates the water during the washing process. Well, I understand... Moving parts wear out eventually... But what makes me mad is this dishwasher was used only 2-3 times a month, plus we cleaned the filter on the bottom after every wash (even though there usually not much to clean), and the part that failed within a pump is a "bushing" that is made of graphite. A graphite...?!!! Seriously Whirlpool? This is how you design, and manufacture your appliances these days? Why couldn't you use a stainless steel bearing, or something else over there? It tells me how cheap you have become, and no longer care about durability of your products? What else is designed and manufactured by you with the same in mind? From now on I will stay away from all of the products... Owned or manufactured by Whirlpool. And those other brands are Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, and Amana. I am not saying that they are bad, but I know that many of your parts are used in other above mentioned brands as well, so and I am not taking a risk of buying another product that contains your failing parts. Hopefully this review will save someone a headache, and money.

I purchased this dishwasher about 30 days ago, and it does an excellent job at cleaning dishes everything comes out like brand new.

We purchased this dishwasher new, only 7 months ago. Only 2 in our home, used about every other day. Cleaned efficiently and quietly until a couple of weeks ago, when I noticed the dishes weren't cleaning as well. Luckily, it was still under the Whirlpool warranty. Repair guy here today, guess what? Motor is shot. 7 months, Whirlpool, you can do better than this.

Overall, I am very happy with Best Buy and the Sales Associate that helped me, so this review in no way is intended to reflect poorly on them. About the dishwasher. This dishwasher is replacing my previous Whirlpool dishwasher that only lasted 2 1/2 years. It matches my other appliances and looks better than the last one. That said, the trouble begins during installation. While what you see on a daily basis looks great, the installation SUCKS! Whirlpool has crowded the fresh water line into the other plumbing making it difficult to work with--but that's the easy connection. The drain tube is nearly impossible to connect. I have six significant cuts on my hands and forearms due to all the sharp objects the installer is required to manipulate around during the installation of this tube. It's poorly located amongst knives. It uses a pair of straight-connects that once installed sharply elbow, (why not just use an elbow and make installation easy?). And, the hose was shorter than the previous hose by a foot which aided in my frustration. Next, installation requires the use of a flat and Philips head shrewdriver--oh and that stupid star driver if you want to hook it up to the electricity. WHAT THE @#%$?!? Overall, I'm so angry at the product at install that I hate the machine. Luckily, I'm building a new house and this one won't be used by me. I will also not buy any Whirlpool appliances for our new house. Kenmore, you're out too--and so is any company who uses this design. I'll pay extra for good design and better reliability.

the good: nice and quiet and large capacity. the bad: does not dry dishes at all takes a very long time to wash. after 7 months the washer will not drain. not worth the $$ to replace the drain pump. will not buy a dishwasher by whirlpool again.

I purchased this dishwasher for my small condo. It is simple and has functions that satisfy my needs. So far it has not given me any problem (1 month).

The price was among the lowest of all brands for the features. Cleans dishes very well. We are very satisfied.

This dishwasher cleans well, but is terrible at drying. Plan on drying all your dishes. Even with using a rinse aid, dishes are still soaking wet and the end of the cycle.

2.5 years after purchase and dishwasher motor already went bad. The trays started wearing out months ago and started rusting. I'm done with Maytag, Whirlpool, as none of them last more than 3 years now. The efficiency standards that require these to run for hours on a little bit of water is what is killing them. Next brand I'm trying is Bosch. Its what the repairman suggests and another who uses them in rentals.

If this will be your main dishwasher in the house and not intended for a rental, do yourself a favor and step up a bit more. This washer has been highly disappointing cleaning and drying dishes. I have followed the recommendations in the manual, have filled the rinse agent, used high dollar detergent, not at all satisfying. Doesn't clean very well, Never dries anything completely, silverware has rust after running. My ten year old whirlpool dishwasher did a much better job of both, unfortunately I am outside of return policy timeframe or this would be going back for sure.
