our other one died and this one had everything she wanted. loves it

I bought Four Whirlpool gold appliances 4 years ago. The microwave died (now lg)have had service in the refrigerator 4 times, the range was serviced once and the oven still does not start the first time, and my dishwasher has been serviced once. The racking inside will break and the latch to close it broke. Spend a little more money and buy the Bosch or lg. If not, be sure to get the 5 year extended warrant, it will pay for itself.

This dishwasher is not robust the bottom panel keeps falling off. The cutlery compartment is in the door which has to be removed as you cannot load the washer with dishes and cutlery at the same time.

Lasted three years. Died slowly. First, the racks rot. Then the plastic filter on the bottom started to warp, letting gunk into the pipes. This clogged the arms and drains. Eventually, the pump started to make weird noises and the water stopped being sprayed. Horrible dishwasher.

Terrible dishwasher. Installation was done wrong leaked all over the floor and less than 3 years later the racks are rusting. Looking to buy a new one now.

Only lasted two years then stopped washing. Replacement parts very expensive for all plastic parts. Beware Cheap plastic on the inside.

Purchased based on the reviews. My dishwasher stopped working after 3 months. Best Buy will not replace, only give you Whirlpool's number to have repaired. It's 3 months old, but the only recourse is to call Whirlpool to have them service a brand new dishwasher. It is also very loud, louder than my old one, which was 15 years old. I would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

I was looking for a dishwasher with the silverware basket in the door and not in the rack and that’s not easy to find. I read the reviews on this one and they were really good so I gave it a shot. What a piece of crap!!! I shouldn’t have to dry my dishes!!!!

My dishwasher stopped washing dishes after three years... just long enough to get you outside the limited warranty. This thing should last at least ten. I definitely DO NOT recommend this model!

This thing is really loud. Wish I had gone with the GE unit.

Go elsewhere. Their treatment of customers is not tolerable. We have to schedule to install in our building. 3 week wait - guy misses window. another 3 weeks - guy shows up late (2 hours after 6 hour window) and doesn't have the right parts. 10 days later - guy comes - doesn't have the right part, but goes and gets it - but isn't able to carry the old one away. That pickup guy misses the appt. next day there's water in the dishwasher without the tenant running it. 45 minute call. another 45 minute call. no remorse. still going.

Broke in less than a year. Motor stopped working. Will not buy again

I bought this dishwasher back in August and wish I had chosen a different one. This dishwasher does not dry the dishes what so ever. I tried a couple of different brands of rinse aid to see if that would make any difference in the drying but it did not.

This dishwasher doesn't dry dishes all the way, even with a rinse agent. It also has a bad smell when the door is opened, especially with dishes inside. I never had this issue with my last dishwasher, even if it sat for a few days. This one smells immediately when dishes inside. Very unhappy with this purchase!

My wife and I have been loyal Whirlpool shoppers for many years. However, This has changed. In February 2019 we bought 4 new Whirlpool appliances, from our local Best Buy store. Gas Range, Side by Side Refrigerator, Dishwasher, and convection Microwave. In July of 2019 the Refrigerator stopped working while we were away on vacation. Then in November 2019 the gas Range quit. Both these appliances were covered, fixed, under warranty, except for the spoiled food in our refrigerator. Then in February of 2021 the dishwasher quit. Since February of 2021, we have changed 2 Control Boards, and two wash pump motors, and now this last control board has failed. And replacement control boards are OUT OF STOCK everywhere. Whirlpool has not held up to the quality appliance it once was. You’ve been warned. Buyer beware.

Best thing about this dishwasher is the look. Other than that, it is absolutely terrible. Doesn't dry dishes even with the recommended drying agent. Doesn't clean the dishes thoroughly. I've tried multiple different detergents and drying agents with no luck. I even called Whirlpool & they sent a service tech out to look at the dishwasher. The tech ran diagnostics on it and nothing got better. Absolute total waste of money. Very disappointed!!

Junk that simply doesn't last. It will be cheaper to replace than repair when the inevitable early-failures begin.

Stop working after 3 years. Also have a whirlpool refrigerator that is awful.

I do not recommend this product it broke after 6 months. Customer service is awful. I spoke to two customer service mangers and they could not help at all. Recently purchased all new Samsung appliances and they are way more efficient my electric bill has also decreased by $15/month!
