The only downside is the silverware doesn't get very clean if you put the basket in the door. If you place it on the left side of the bottom rack, it works well.

I had an expensive Samsung and hated it since day one. It went out and I jumped at the opportunity to get the Whirlpool. Couldn't be more happier. Expensive doesn't mean quality.

The motor died after owning for 7 months. Tried to get it fixed through the warranty, took almost 6 months to get someone out there. They fixed it, the fix lasted less than a month. I managed to do some quick fixes that helped some but now it is completely dead. And good luck getting in touch with whirlpool or the ONE company that actually works on whirlpool. Would absolutely not recommend this dishwasher.

Remember to not remove the pre-installed drain hose ..get rid of old one. The dry feature doesn't do as good a job as i expected, but works perfect.
