    We purchased this refrigerator at the end of March. It’s the end of May and the ice maker has broken into multiple pieces.

    I am veeery disapointed I receive a use refridger for new a lot of things on it was'nt working I have it for a few days that was my second refridger both of them was a disaster I am not buying anymore applance from there.I buy TV too and it is the problem.

    Waited six weeks for a replacement freezer door since they couldn't replace the defective seal. Wrong door sent once and now on reorder again....another three or four week wait.

    Horrible refrigerator. Extremely loud and the door has already come off the hinge with less than one year of use. Not all pleased.

    The junctions between the stainless steel front and the plastic borders are not flush and the foam filler is visible (on all 4 corners). This was seen on two separate refrigerators that were delivered to our home. Also, the internal shelves were very flimsy. Lastly the wiring was protruding from the plastic covering at the base of the refrigerator.

    Bad buy from Best Buy

    The main reason we purchased a new refrigerator freezer was because we were having problems with the ice maker. On this new unit, the refrigerator and freezer seemed to work fine but the ice maker did not make enough ice to service my wife and I. The final straw came on a day when my wife and I were each away from home for over 6 hours and there wasn't enough ice for me to have a glass of ice water at bedtime. Today the Whirlpool was picked up and replaced with a GE.

    Not happy. Called to try to fix the issue and the person had no idea what it was and gave me a BS story about letting it run for 24 hrs before deciding it was broken.

    Refrigerator freezes to much of my food

    Yes it's beautiful, but it freezes so much of my food on the refrigerator side, it says to move food out from the sides if this happens, but I need all the space in my fridge not just some of it, I have two other friends with the same fridge and the same problem, we have already replaced it even though we bought it in 2/19, really sad that nothing is made to last or perform as it should. And yes I adjusted the temps...didn't matter.

    Whirlpool Side by side Refrigator/Freezer

    We purchased this frig and when it was delivered, the doors were uneven. Best buy was going to replace the doors, but they didn't have any. Best buy then set-up a time to pick up the frig and replace it with another new one. The second was delivered, but the refrigerator side didn't work. Only the freezer side got cold. So we had this one returned. I would not recommend the Whirlpool refrigerator.

    Freezer is always frosty. Ice tastes freezer burnt. Makes noise several times a day. Waited several months to receive it and it wasn’t worth the wait.

    It dose not make ice on warm days and the fridge gets ice built up in the back corner . I also lost eggs , sour cream, cottage etc due to frozen sold.

    We got it home and the ice maker did not work. They sent a replacement and it still did not work. I have had warranty service out three times and it STILL doesn't work. Now it's outside the return window and Best Buy won't take it back. I have wasted hours of my work time on two useless fridges and Best Buy refuses to take responsibility.

    Big defect on freezer door. Just by opening the freezer door you risk breaking wires that power the lights and ice-machine. After a year of owning this fridge/freezer, the wires snapped making the ice machine useless. It will take 10 weeks or more for Whirlpool to replace it. Completely unacceptable. Stay away from this fridge/freezer at all costs. Never buying a Whirlpool product again.
