Electrical problems in less than two years

I have had it for almost two years and the ice maker stopped working, out of warranty of course. After getting a new ice maker and several service calls $$, we find out it’s electrical and very expensive to fix. My service technician wouldn’t even recommend doing it, if it’s this young what else will go wrong. Thanks anyway whirlpool, very disappointed.

Refrigerator freezes

From the beginning, the back and left side that touches freezer side, freezes foods in the refrigerator. I lowered refrigerator side to 38, the fridge it replaced I kept at 36. Finally had repair man out today he says “a very common problem with this model”. I already didn’t like the way the shelves provided space and now this. Unless I buy a new one, I lose much space avoiding the back and left side now. Repair man also said “ this fridge will only last you 5 years”. CRAP DON’T BUY

Don’t recommend it for longevity

Replaced it under protection plan. 3rd year same thing but this time whole freezer door needs replaced because wire at the bottom of the fridge split from opening and closing. Found this is common amongst whirlpool fridges.

Sounds like a freight train horrible

Broke After 2 Years

Should have just bought a new one instead of spending so much on repairs. Replacing the board, then defroster timer, now again defroster timer and the flap.

This is a very loud refrigerator

I bought it because it was the right size and the only one available in that size at the time. It is incredibly and annoyingly loud. I wish there had been other choices. I don’t recommend this refrigerator at all.

Didn’t last long

Cooling issues after 1 year

The defrost mechanism has been repaired twice - both times the defrost thermostat was the culprit. It's amazing how one low quality part can ruin an otherwise nice refrigerator. We are looking at replacing the refrigerator with something more reliable.

Drawers bad

Junk don't Buy! 4 Months in Ice/Water don't work!

From day 1 this fridge was very noisy while dispensing water, also the water came out very slowly. Noise is expected when running the ice maker and things like that. However the noise we are experiencing is loud and embarrassing (when company is over). Today is Valentines day 2019 we have had this fridge for 4 months and the water and ice completely stopped working. You here that nasty loud grindy noise that it has always made just now nothing comes out. This fridge is a piece of junk buy something else.
