I've only had the fridge for a few weeks now but so far it has been fantastic. It would be a five star fridge, but I'm going to list one super small inconvenience that I just wish would change, and I know I'm not the only one! Way too many people have the same gripe about this fridge and I just hated having to spend another $50 or whatever to order the butter shelf. WHY DOES THIS NOT COME WITH A BUTTER SHELF!? Ridiculous. Other than that, it's a five star fridge so far. Does not have as good of finish quality as some other brands. I have seen some reviews stating that there was an overflow of glue/adhesive in some areas and that held true for my fridge. Fingerprint resistance is top notch though. Ice maker has been a champ. Currently, I would absolutely buy the fridge again.

I was very apprehensive about buying this fridge because reviews can be so misleading. We were in a bind because choices in the size and color (black) we needed are very limited, so this Whirlpool checked off all those boxes. Delivery was EXCELLENT. Our 2 guys knew what they were doing and it went very smooth. So far, so good. Love the lighting, all the room inside. It’s quiet. One question I had was why the freezer door is higher than the refrigerator door? I read about it in the manual and there is an adjustment, so we will do that. Another small complaint is the symmetry of the drain in the water/ice door. Looks funny to me, and the delivery guy said he noticed it too, but I was the first customer to mention it. I noticed it on the floor model in the store as well so it’s a design issue. Not a deal breaker. I am very happy so far.

Fridge is pretty good with a lot of space. Water filter and ice maker are pretty spot on as well. I’ve gets made a bit slow but not a problem for a small household. The only issue I have is the back of the fridge, the tubes where the water goes through is a bit fragile. They broke and we had water spraying on the floor and wall for a while. I was able to fix it but have to be cautious about the fridge being up against the wall.

love the looks, and so far, have been working without any issue and it have more space that it seems to.

Extremely roomy, basically a great design, the whole interior is space ready. Makes significant amount ice, is working out very nicely.

Love this refrigerator!! The water/ice machine works perfectly. The freezer has a lot of room, as does the refrigerator. The drawers roll out and in easily. The door shelves are nicely wide and deep and we place them where we want them. The only downfall we've found with it is the placement of the shelves, they can be very narrow but we're getting used to it.

Lots of room, love the layout of shelves. Plenty drawer space. Location of ice maker is excellent.

Very quiet when running. It does make a weird noise when I close the refrigerator door. May call service at some point and have them look at it. I do like the icemaker bin so that you can easily get ice out in bulk.

My opinion is nobody should buy this fridge. The icemaker in this fridge has all kinds of problems. If you don’t use ice fast enough it starts to settle and compact where it gets to point of settling together too much into a pack of ice, and stops letting any come out of fridge. You have to empty it out, defrost ice maker area and try again. We use ice daily, so should not be a problem. This happens every few months though. We have had the ice maker replaced twice due to the water in tray freezing up and not releasing the cubes. It burns out motor on ice tray it the point of burning it out, which is why it has to be replaced. This is also a whirlpool known problem. This last time our ice maker stopped working we were told it is now a wiring problem. Had a whirlpool service provider do some splicing on the wiring but stated if that didn’t last then we would have to buy a new door which would cost $1000 and would not be covered by warranty. After 2 weeks it has stopped working again. Apparently this fridge has a known defect on the icemaker wiring in the door. The wiring in door has separated over time due to the positioning in the door. As the door opens and closes it tugs at the wires. Apparently whirlpool knows about this defect, but not doing anything about it and it’s not covered past the 1 year warranty. Spoke with whirlpool representative today and all I got was sorry for your frustration but nothing covered.

Love this fridge!!!! It's very spacious and I like the ice machine a lot. Overall a really good product!

Ice works great. Keeps food cold and is not noisy. I like the tall freezer space and some drawers inside it too. Plenty of room for family of 6

This is getting a 4 instead of a 5 or maybe a 4 1/2 because the water coming out of the fridge while cool, is not as cold as I had expected based on past performances of another like product. This is a private preference. Still overall, it's very spacious and and allows more room for fruits and vegetables as compared with the kitchen-aid/Kenmore that we had for 19 years. My hope is that this one lasts as long. What we do like mostly is that the ice cubes are about 1 1/2 inches and they aren't too big. I would still recommend this product to others. Overall, I am pleased.

I chose a Whirlpool fridge because of two reasons. My wife and I was looking for a Samsung black stainless steel to match our cooking range. After reading reviews and talking with sales associates. we decided not to purchase a Samsung but instead, a Whirlpool. We decided on this particular Whirlpool because of the size and price. We chose Whirlpool because we were replacing a whirlpool we have had for 33 years. You get what you pay for when you buy a Whirlpool. We have absolutely no complaints about our old Whirlpool fridge and certainly not our new one. The fridge and freezer gets cold like nobody business. We love the space as well and the black stainless steel. My daughter is a chef and love the convenience of the H2o dispenser and how it Whirlpool, really the price.

I love it its everything i like has ice machine and water dispenser. Vey big and spacious i would recommend this refrigerator.

This is a great refrigerator. Has excellent capacity and storage for you items. This unit as more pros than cons. The only cons that this refrigerator has is that when it makes ice its pretty noisy. Also, the pads that control the water and ice are pretty stiff, so it takes a little force to get either.

This is a secondary fridge to the one in my kitchen but I love it just as much! roomy, has great lighting and my favorite part is the drawers in the freezer. Color is sleek and the handles dont show fingerprints and gunk like my silver stainless fridge does. So happy with this purchase!

This fridge is what we were looking for.. a big, stainless steel side by side made by Whirlpool with water/ice maker under $1500. The shelves are to our liking (thin with no extra nonsense). My only complaint.. and its starting to get annoying is a high pitch hum that were hear often.. so much so Im going to call Whirlpool and ask them if it is normal.. sometime I can here it all the way down the hallway which is a good distance away.. Its not constant but when it occurs it stays on for several hours.. usually a few times a day..

It's an OK side by side refrigerator. I replaced my 19 years old side by side with this Whirlpool one. The light in the refrigerator side does not seem to be bright enough, and there are no closed compartment on the side of the refrigerator door, which my old one had. The freezer side seems to be good, except that the ice maker maybe too open to the outside when the door is opened thus causing the ice to be moisturized and stick together. Need some improvement here.

Only had it Two weeks, but seems to be a great purchase. It is not fingerprint resistant, so I would imaging with small children it would need to be continuously wiped down. Very roomy and cold, both refrigerator and freezer with factory presets. The wires going to the freezer door that have been a problem breaking in earlier models seem to not be a problem, at this point anyway. Installers Michael & Jordon did a fantastic job with delivery and installation, I didn’t need the waterline kit, I was able to use the line from the “old” refrigerator.
