We moved from a counter-depth to a full size and stuck with Whirlpool brand. The difference in space is amazing. The doors are extremely light by comparison and easy to open. The glass shelves allow the lights to keep everything visible, At first, I thought I wouldn't like the smaller ice cubes and tray - but so far, there hasn't been an issue with the amount made or size of cubes (meaning I don't see us using any more than we used to with the bigger ice). We've had the fridge 3 months now. Two main complaints: 1. (minor) The freezer/ice maker/defroster motor is extremely noisy 2. (Major) You can set the temperature for the fridge/freezer, but there is no way to tell WHAT the temperature actually is. This is a HUGE disappointment and have had half gallon milk containers freeze on the top shelf. It seems the temperature regulation is miserable and we can't monitor the fridge temperature without putting an external thermometer in it. We've had full milk containers freeze on the top shelf. We do our best to not block the airflow vents - but this is one of the biggest disappointments and frustrations ever in a Whirlpool product thus far.

Well lit, roomy, super cool ,modern and functional water dispenser. Pictures don't do this beauty any justice. I was pleasently surprised by how large this fridge was inside. The handles are super sturdy and durable. Gets an A in the lighting department. Affordable and I wouldn't change a thing about the design.

The best thing about the fridge is the size. I didn't realize how much I could fit in both sides until I went to the store and actually filled it with groceries. The in door water dispenser on the freezer side especially creates a ton of extra room for storage. It is quiet and has a very sleek outside design that fits well into our kitchen. The only small downside is the water dispenser area gets dirty fairly easily with water spots and what not but if you clean regularly its not a problem.

Designed & engineered efficiently & effectively. Lots of light when opening door on either side. Quickly makes ice & lighted ice/water dispenser nice added feature. Predetermined water amount to dispense also great feature. Keeps food frozen & cold on either side without complaint. Not even a month's usage & very please with performance. Just hope reliability is as good as reported.

This fridge is HUGE! The stainless is truly fingerprint resistant. The icemaker is very efficient. The interior layout is great and the lighting is wonderful. Saw reviews about the icemaker being noisy, but it is no noisier than any other with the ice in the door. And it certainly makes for much more freezer space than the version that takes up the top shelf in most freezers! Have only had it a few weeks, but am very happy!

I LOVE this refrigerator. I had a bottom drawer freezer and hated it. This is such a pleasure to be able to find everything. All of the shelves come completely out so it's easy to clean. I love the ice maker on the door so it doesn't take up freezer room. There were complaints about the wiring for the ice maker at the bottom of the door breaking apart but from the pictures I've seen with the wires exposed they now have a rubber boot over the wires. It does get loud when I load it and the compressor goes on but it's only until the refrigerator catches up with the cooling. A compressor is going to make noise. If you can handle that this is a GREAT refrigerator.

I did my review before purchasing a new fridge, I'm glad I decided for this one for what I think it was a good choice. It was delivered with no damages. This fridge is quiet, roomy, well lit, have a great look and works perfect .I'm very happy with my choice so far ...I only had it for a month.

pick this up from best buy outlet with a few dents on sides( which are covered by wall and counters so no big deal) other than that its perfect visually. love the size and features of this model (my 6 yo granddaughter found out how to make it dispense water automatically) i didn't even know that was a feature. as i said got this from the outlet so the price of 566 was to good to pass up and we are glad we didn't. very happy with purchase

Full disclosure I'm a tactile shopper but due to current COVID- 19/quarantine obstacles I had to make a purchase that was not in person. Our refrigerator took a dump and I unexpectedly become a fervent researcher of Side-by-Side vs French doors and standard depth vs cupboard depth etc... In addition to the constraints of ordering online I was also faced with many products not being immediately available. Maybe multiple families were experiencing a need to replace their appliances?? We wanted a refrigerator asap so I may have settled too hastily. This fridge is adequate, however I find some things lacking. The shelves are not as sturdy and as high quality as the fridge we were replacing. There is an empty butter shelf that through reviews I knew wasn't going to come automatically with the purchase, but unfortunately I haven't been able to easily figure out to to purchase one and install it. Plus side: the ice machine is substantial !! Negative: I froze 2 dozen eggs and a couple of cans of seltzer because of the precarious placement of certain perishables on certain shelves. We are still trying to figure out the best arrangement in the fridge as to not freeze items and develop frost in the refrigerator side of the unit. There is a clear (crookedly placed) sticker in the fridge side that warns to not place items that would prevent proper air flow. It's a Tetris sort of situation. The outside cleans up nicely. Its facade is magnetic. Bummer: I already have suspicious dents in the front of the freezer that no one in the house is owning up to. I don't think the installers did it. I have 2 active young children, so it wouldn't be surprise that one of their creations was taking a test flight in the kitchen and crash landed into the freezer door. negative: dents fairly easily (in our house0 The Best Buy installers were swift and efficient. No complaints. The customer service gentleman that I spoke with prior to my purchase was informative and personable. No regrets from purchasing through Best Buy.

My husband and I needed a new refrigerator and after pricing several online we ended up at Best Buy. The salesman was very patient with us as we looked at 3 or 4 different models. We finally decided on the side by side Whirlpool model. My favorite thing about this refrigerator is the crushed ice. It is so finely crushed, just the way crushed ice should be. I also like the measured fill option: I select how many ounces/cups/liters I want to use, put my container in place, press the button and it automatically fills up the container without me having to stand there pressing the water button. I also like that the ice and water dispensers don't stop functioning when you open the other door of the refrigerator. My only dislike is how the temperature of the water dispenser fluctuates sometimes even after I adjust it (this explains the 4 star rating). However, I would absolutely recommend this product.

Needed more freezer space and this filled the need. Good design when it comes to function, but it is noisy If your looking for a frig with a large storage capacity, this is it. It beats bending over to find things like in the French door models and changing the filter is quick and easy.

This replaced a Whirlpool that was close to same exterior dimensions, but this one offers another 3 cubic feet of interior storage, which has been great! Some negative reviews mentioned lack of ice, but after I hooked it up, I enabled the fast ice option and had a mostly full bin the next day. In the month since then we've always had plenty of ice for our family of six which probably averages 50-60 pieces of ice throughout the day. We'll see how the longevity works out for us: the fridge we replaced is still working fine after 14 years, but we wanted some extra space, which we've definitely gotten with this fridge. Very happy with this purchase so far!

I love my new fridge! It is nice and roomy. I am still getting used to the different placement of my drawers but it is getting easier. I love the fact that it tells me how many ounces of water I dispense each time! Great way to track my water. Although it runs a little loud the overall appearance and use if magnificent.

Great refrigerator. One of the biggest residential side by side refrigerators. 3 drawers in frig instead of 2. Great for separating veggies, fruits and lunch meats. The ice maker is in the door. A great space saver but is noisy when you get ice, that should be expected. It is quieter than other refrigerators I’ve had in the past. That’s the only down side to this appliance. We really like this frigerator. Best Buy had it at a great price too.

We absolutely luv our beautiful new gleaming stainless steel refrigerator. It looks beautiful in the kitchen & is easy to keep organized. We're pleased with it's size. I like it also because it's well lighted on the inside of the freezer & shelves as well & we can quickly see everything that's in it.

Had to replace our Samsung refrigerator and decided on this model after much contemplation. Overall, we are happy with this purchase. It has great storage space and fits all of our food really nicely. I love the auto dispensing water feature which allows you to walk away while your glass is filled. The ice maker works well, but I do find the dispensing to be annoying at times. Cubes will often miss the glass and end up on the floor, and they don't come out as fast as I'd like, so I'll often pull the ice manually. Other than that, I highly recommend this model.

So far, so good (almost)! We purchased this in November 2022, it was delivered in December. The owner's manual leaves a lot to be desired, but we have managed. The ice maker makes better cubes than our last Whirlpool, but the discharge of the ice is slower and more messy. We have a consistent noise problem coming from the "Fresh Flow" module in the refrigerator side of the unit. It is so loud that we can hear it from two rooms away! We have a service appointment scheduled in 3 days

We got an excellent deal on the fridge and saw great reviews online at multiple retailers. We’ve only had it a week but so far so good! I love the spaciousness and the ice maker in the door. The bucket is smaller than other models, but who uses that much ice anyways? I like the ease to remove it and ability to set it on the counter as an ice bucket if needed. The filter is so much easier to replace than the old screw in type—one button ejects it and a push snaps it back in. Separate water and ice dispensers make it easier for our kids to help themselves without making a mess. My only complaint so far is the ice maker is very loud. You can hear the water dispensing into the ice maker and sound of ice dropping to the bucket. Geek squad delivery was amazing! Our delivery team made every effort to get it in the house without banging our fresh painted walls or scratching our floors. They even took time to explain all the features and set up the settings for ideal use. I would have happily given 5 stars if the ice maker wasn’t so dang loud!

Disappointed that my new Whirpool refrigerator showed some problems within the first 3 months after I bought it. The fridge has loud noise, some food in the fridge gets frozen, the shelves cannot be moved around, no butter shelf and handles/doors are misaligned!!! Why??? Are those standards now with Whirpool refrigerators? I have called technician to work on it and still it did not resolve the problem. It is embarrassing on Whirlpool to have refrigerator defects such as this considering that Whirpool used to have a good reputation (I had Whirpool Fridge for almost 20 years before this purchase). My question now is, Does Whirlpool not have a good quality control anymore? Whirlpool has always been my favorite kitchen appliance brand but with this new purchase, I have lost my trust on the brand. I could not even recommend it to others and even show to my family/friends my new refrigerator that I paid alot without telling them defects.

I had a great interaction with the sales person who help me to purchase my whirlpool refrigerator, Debbie P. The refrigerator arrived as scheduled and the two delivery men, KC and Brian, were very careful in removing the old refrigerator and installing my new one. Everyone has been extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. I’ve only had the refrigerator one day but so far so good. It’s running like a champ, making ice, and fits perfectly into the spot we have allocated for it. This is just another example of the great success I have had when making purchases from Best Buy.
