Here if you just care about getting your clothes washed, it will allow your grandma to know how to start it. It is simple. Parts on this thing are relatively cheap if it comes down to breaking.

Good machine

My main issue with it is that the water will stop filling if the lid is opened so it pretty much gets you into a habit of not disrupting the wash cycle. I suppose its also a smart conservation effort on Whirlpool's part. Nice!

Okay washer

Does a good job cleaning but the lid always locks when you start a cycle and if you stop the cycle then it drains the tub. It doesn't have a "soak" cycle. Nice basket size. A little noisy. Good washer for the money.
