Garbage brand and garbage service.

Upon calling Whirlpool under factory warranty, they said that the part will not arrive within 5 weeks. On top of that, every time you call, they put you on hold for hours. What am I supposed to do? Wash my clothes by hand? Garbage brand and garbage service.

And hearing about the more expensive machines, they are no better.

Poor quality

The washer was flimsy and did not wash well. It had trouble sensing the water level accurately and left white lint patches or soap patches on the clothes. Best Buy was good about replacing it. We went with a slightly more expensive washer that works great.

Broken washer

I didn’t know it at the time until I was doing a load of laundry and the washing machine began to shake and it shakes all the time. I called Best Buy customer service and they told me I was past my two weeks for return and got through the manufacturer.

The first broke during the initial test run, when the motor locked up and it wouldn’t drain. I had to bail out the basket and then siphon out the water from under the basket myself before they would take it back. The second one was smashed in on one side upon arrival. It wasn’t until the 3rd arrived, did the machine work and in good condition.

No matter how much detergent I put in this washing machine! I don’t feel like it washes my clothes good at all. I wish I would have gotten my old washing machine fixed instead of purchasing a new one.

VERY Disappointing

Noisy; no signal upon cycle completion; using deep rinse cycles means that all of the clothing is soaking wet and there is no option to just run an extra spin and drain cycle! Very disappointed in Whirlpool.

Horrible service

The second delivery just never happened, we waited and waited with no delivery when I called they said the washer was not being delivered today??? The 3rd delivery they said the could not install, I had to install myself horrible service There should be some compensation for this poor service and my time.

My "Best Buy" of 2026
