Basic Washer - works well enough

I had a Samsung with digital controls that didn't clean particularly well. Much prefer manual controls - less things to go wrong and no more dreaded Error Messages! I also had it delivered and set up. The guys were on time, quick and did a great job!

The first time I used it, just had a set of sheets & a couple of pieces of underwear in wash. It was so unbalanced, I thought it was going to walk out of room! Very loud & awful vibration, brought it back too! Did not get another Whirlpool!

We let the washer decide on the water level and it does a great job. Very happy with this washer and although I can’t speak about the longevity as only time will tell.

Constantly out of balance

Thought it was a fluke at first when it would spin out of balance so often but the problem has gotten worse and worse. Unless you do a light weight load the thing sounds like it's blasting off into space. Do a load of jeans or sweats and you will have to stop it mid spin, rearrange the load and after 3 or 4 presses of the start/pause button, it will finally finish the cycle. NOT A GOOD BUY, AVOID!

No agitator post is the problem

Unit goes out of balance ALL THE TIME. We have new twins and 4 sleeping sacks (for tiny 1 year old babies) cause unit to self distruct. We are limited to smaller loads, went out of balance so hard it required a service call. It lost a balancing rod and slammed into both my wall (did damage to wall) and new dryer next to it. Very disappointed in this unit.
