We remodeled our kitchen and had this put in our island. I was SO CAREFUL last night when I used it the VERY FIRST TIME. I gently put the skillet on the burner. Afterwards the burner is all scratched up! I couldn't believe it! I wanted to cry!

Although he said that this cooktop does not work for us. To keep a low cooking meal or to get high heat, or to simmer, those features can't be use. We aren't proffessional cooks or chefs, we just want a cooktop that works.
