some review says it is easy to install, but i found it rather difficult. The hook/bracket was weirdly shaped and it was difficult to get them perfectly align and the place to screw to wall was in weird angle, which makes it extremely difficult to screw tightly.

Nice Range hood, would definitely recommend it for anyone replacing and looking for inexpensive, but reliable product

What a piece of junk and Whirlpool should be ashamed for selling it. It doesn't have enough suction to vent steam. Yes its quiet, but thats probably because its not venting anything. I will be returning this piece of junk.

I ordered this online and when I opened the box, which looked like it had been kicked around, the whole front was dented and caved in. I called and it was really easy to get a replacement sent out. When I received the replacement everything looked great until I took it out of the box. The whole side of this one was caved in. So I called again and the lady I spoke to couldn't find my account and then transferred me over to geek squad who had no idea how to help me because I didn't order an install. I have yet to get this issue fixed as I tried to use their online chat and was told this issue can only be fixed over the phone. I just want my item not damaged, is that so much to ask?

Avoid this product at all costs! First, I ignored the reviews about how it looks. It looks bad. Really bad. Everything is exposed and looks extremely cheap. The filter is barely held on and inadequate. The tech that did the install was laughing about it and how they would be back to exchange it. Well, they were right! I should add that the venting/recirculating on this is terrible, it has one job which it is bad at! Thankfully Best Buy let me exchange this because this product was awful.

Fan is weak. It looks nice at eye level but if you look at it from underneath it is very chinsey - if I’d known that before buying I would have kept looking.

Whirlpool range that I purchased served the purpose.

This is a flimsy and cheap fan. It does look good, but the fan is absolutely useless. There is no power! I quickly returned it to the store and bought a Braun exhaust fan.
