    Serious Storage for Small Unit

I purchased this fridge a month ago and overall think it's a great fridge that fits and functions in the odd space it fits. I have a fairly small kitchen that is designed for the fridge to only go into one space - which happen to be a corner. Add to that there is a door in that corner to my back deck, which really limits the depth of the fridge I can have. My previous fridge in that space was a 2 French door design (freezer L, fridge R) and the freezer door would basically only open 90 degrees, severely limiting the size of items I could fit in there. I know you're probably thinking why didn't I get a bottom drawer freezer style? And the answer is good luck finding a fridge that doesn't exceed 69" tall or 29" deep that is something different than the 2 French door design! This 4 door design is great in that the freezer unit on the right has some deep drawers and wider spaces and although for me the left side opens toward wall the zero degree hinges allow for the door to open a but wider than 90 degrees, but not enough for me to actually pull out the bottom drawer far enough to get the access I need. I ended up removing the drawer entirely and have much better access to that space and can easily stack items there. It takes a second to figure out how to organize items in the fridge space, but the space is large and deep and plenty of room for a family of 2-4 people. I'd recommend using easy access containers for storing and stacking smaller items. The fridge sides got pretty hot after it was first installed and getting down to temp., which is how this unit is designed to function, but once it's to temp it rarely runs and is super quiet. A drawback for some may be that it does not come with a water fill station. I believe that the unit does not have any kind of water station modification you can retrofit either. It's not a huge deal for me as I have filtered tap at my sink that goes through a better filtration process than most fridge's have. I think this fridge will serve me well for many years.

We replaced an old GE refrigerator with this one, both counter-depth in size. The Whirlpool is slightly smaller in square feet, but fits our space better (the 4 doors reduce the space needed for open door clearance). We like everything about it. What we thought we'd miss--the outside water/ice dispenser--we don't. The ice maker works well and takes up much less space than the GE one did. We bought a PUR pitcher for cold filtered water, and it works fine. In a smaller kitchen like ours the plain exterior is much more pleasing to the eye. We also like having the refrigerator on top, easily accessible, with plenty of (deep) door shelving. The outside controls are useful, and the black strip where they are located (only lights up when the door is open or you are adjusting temps) matches our black appliances. Best Buy did a great job with everything, from price matching through delivery and set up. For a two-person household (that sometimes has a guest or two), it is perfect.

This refrigerator is great. We recently moved and had to buy a counter depth refrigerator due to a lack of space in the kitchen. This unit is a perfect fit. It runs very quietly and looks great. We love the ability to have different temperatures set on the two freezer compartments as well!

Replacing a failing refrigerator in the midst of a pandemic proofed difficult. All our appliances are white, but most manufacturers have stopped production. Ended up with a fingerprint free stainless frig. NO WHITE frig anywhere. We have a strange space with many requirements, including counter depth. To be honest, we mainly purchased this due to space requirements, but did end up liking it. It keeps an even temperature (we have a thermometer to verify this) and is very, very quiet. The only complaint is that the ice container seems to get too full, so ice cubes get knocked out of the container when pulling the drawer forward. I guess another complaint are that the 3 shelves are full shelves that need to be pulled out quite far in order to remove them. We cannot open the left door far enough, so these shelves will never be removed unless the frig is moved. bought some shelf liner to help with future cleanups.

We bought this a month ago. I really like the design. Counter depth works for us. Yes pizza box does not fit well. I put it in a bag. I like shelves. Freezer i like the pull out bins. We do have a deep freezer for big items. If you shop weekly this fridge is good. Not sure how well it would work for family of 4 that cooks every night, might want regular depth for that. Ice maker is nice. Lighting is bright. Changing freezer temps nice so food for the week is not over frozen. Everyone thT sees it really likes it.

    Whirlpool French Door Frig

Attractive and finger print free. Since there are no handles, it fits well in a small kitchen. The compartments in the freezer drawers make it easy to store a variety of items and locate quickly. The frig shelfs cannot be removed and set at different levels although all the directions states easy to do. The self hits the open door making it impossible to remove. You also need to remember to close the left door before closing the right to avoid it hitting.

Smaller then our last fridge (Samsung). But already many noticeable improvements. Doesn’t make large “popping” sounds at all hours. Alerts you if door(s) not shut all the way. Plenty of freezer space. I like the little ledge in the freezer. Great place to “chill” a beer faster ; ) also there is no ice-maker so more real estate inside. So far great! I like it a lot. Also, Best Buy price match. Which saved us $$! I’m very happy about that.

Great looking fridge. Keeps temperature well. Love the 4 doors. Can open any individual door. I am finding it very easy to use. We are a family of 4 and I have a second fridge/freezer in the garage so this one is a perfect size for that situation. My only issue is that it is very loud about 1x/hr. I am going to call and see if that is fixable.

I like the cu. ft. size, the counter depth , the style, no handles, the convenience of french doors on the refrigerator and the freezer. I also like the convenience of the refrigerator on top and freezer on the bottom. It is also very quiet. The only thing I would add is a condiments drawer .

We love our new fridge! Easy to open doors and plenty of storage. (We don’t drink wine so not worried about a bottle of wine that can’t be stored in a door.) We haven’t had any issue with temperature or programming it in the month that we’ve had it.

I am so happy that I couldn't find an affordable Bottom Freezer Refrigerator nor a quality and affordable French Door or 3 Door refrigerator. This was one of the very few refrigerators manufactured these days which doesn't force a consumer to buy unnecessary accoutrements like pouring water and ice makers. Yes, this comes with a built in ice-maker but it's out of the way and if you chose it, the large capacity ice storing container is removable. Based upon recommendations and reviews, I've chosen to not hook this to a water line. It's not "Smart" Thank God, I know how to operate a refrigerator all by myself. That said, it *is* the nicest refrigerator I've ever owned, which says a lot from a long-time homeowner. I had some reservations about buying any more Whirlpool appliances, the last fridge died within 5 years when the compressor gave out. The W. Dishwasher is literally falling apart, the heating element is rusting out and it's approx. 8 years old not heavily used. Anyway, I'm glad I took a chance with this Whirlpool, albeit only 2 weeks old, i love it. It has a beautiful exterior with a very spacious, neat and organizable interior. It's huge, btw. Other good stuff: I no longer hit my head on the top freezer trying to find the lettuce in produce bins at floor level. I'm no longer destroying what's left of my spine while bending to the ground to find the yogurt. Everything is placeable within reach for an adult. I love the Beverage Storage option. I couldn't be happier (with a refrigerators). It was a good deal during Labor Day Sales, 2024. I've almost already, forgotten the unending Ordering hassle's and the terrible GS Delivery experience.

This is my first refirgrator that wasn't just the standard freezer over fridge 2 door and I love it. It is shallow and maximizes the space I have without sticking out. The shorter doors allow people to walk past without having to shut the doors. It's a little weird not having a meat drawer. Wine bottles don't fit in it standing up- that's the only thing I have found is a real negative. The stainless steel doesn't get fingerprints like I thought it would. The produce drawers are pretty large and I love having the drawer in the freezer. If you get a lot of large sized frozen boxed food, it might not be the freezer for you but it holds a lot of smaller things. It's very handy if you feeze food flat in bags. I did get an ice scoop and there's the perfect spot for it. Very happy with this fridge!

By far, the best refrigerator we have ever bought. Just the right size for the two of us, and unexpectedly roomy. Makes all the ice we can use, and the slide out freezer shelves and drawers on the lower level are great. Couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase. The delivery team was outstanding, from knocking on our door, removing the old fridge, hooking up the new water line, installing the new fridge, they were gone in 20 minutes. Two of the nicest kids. Overall, a very satisfying purchase from Best Buy.

When looking at new refeigerators, I thought I had three real options: Top freezer, where you get one long shelf, stuff falls out when you open it, you forget you have the stuff in the back, etc and the drawers at the bottom of the fridge require you to sit down to use. Option 2: bottom freezer, where the fridge is pretty good, but the freezer is basically a deep drawer bunch of stuff piled on top of each other. Can get french drawer style for a fancier look. Option 3: Side-by-side: This is where the freezer finally gets treated well, though a lot of apace is uaually lost to a water dispenser. You get shelves and drawers in the freezer, but the fridge is generally cramped, and you still have to sit to deal with the fridge drawers. Turns out there is a 4th option - This innovative design combines the best of both worlds - the organization of a side-by-side freezer and the spaciousness of a top fridge design. And with counter-depth, there’s no back of the fridge for anything to get lost. The freezer shelves pull out, everything is well lit, and it is easy to see all of your food. This thing is a joy to use and makes me want to organize. I love it! As a bonus, the two freezers can be set to separate temps, and were able to be used within a few hour (I tested with a bit of water in a bowl to see when it would freeze).
