A: Hello, There are 2 Veggie/Fruit drawers. The one drawer on the left can be opened without both doors being open, but the right veggie drawer will only open if both fridge doors are open. Very strange design. The fridge is absolutely beautiful, but does have a few functionality flaws. To further what the previous reviewer stated about fridge not being able to hold a wine bottle. I found this to be true, but was able to work around it. The fridge door will hold an unopened wine bottle, but will not hold a bottle that has been re-corked or has a wine stopper in it. I was able to place some 3M stickies on the door to keep the middle door shelf higher (not a great fix for an expensive fridge, but it did the trick). The design flaws aren't bad enough that I would return the fridge, but did wish I knew before purchasing. This is a new model, so there was not one available for me to see in person before making the buy.

Happy with my gorgeous refrigerator!!
I have been eyeing this fridge for a while and like this particular model since I have a small kitchen and there is an island in the center of my kitchen that prevents me from getting a bigger fridge. Ive seen this model in person at a Home depot and fell in love with it..But decided to get it at BB since I have heard not so good reviews with Home depot in terms of having items in stock and delivery issues. Our new Whirlpool refrigerator was delivered on 11/10/20. The delivery guys did a good job with hauling our old fridge and delivering this new one. I did not purchase installation since I have a reverse osmosis system that hooks up to the ice line. The ice maker took a while (6 hrs) to start making ice from first hook up and it does not make much in 24 hrs but I do not use a lot of ice so it is fine with me..I have had this fridge for a week and I like it a lot. At first, I thought it was not enough space but it seems that isnt so. I love that the freezer is compartmentalized and organizing is easier. One thing is, I cannot pull out the middle shelf to adjust it a bit higher. The manual says that it should be able to do so but the door is blocking it and I was scared of forcing it out and breaking it LOL.. But for now, it works the way it is. Another issue is that it is NOT fingerprint resistant. I clean it daily with a microfiber cloth just slight damp with water and soap. I have been eyeing this fridge for a while and like this specific model since I have a small kitchen and there is an island in the center of my kitchen that prevents me from getting a bigger fridge. I also thought at first that it was not getting cool but after about 36 hrs it was able to adjust to 36-37 deg. I just keep the temp on 36 deg and 0 deg on the freezer..I think refrigerators made now just dont get as cold as old models as they're more energy efficient.. The one that replaced this was an old KitchenAid from the late 90s and that one is always cold but was also very loud. This one I find it not as loud, I hear occasional noises that I think is just normal..Overall, I am happy with this replacement and was glad to get it at a good price. It is my first time buying a household appliance from Best Buy and am very satisfied and pleased. I usually buy from Home depot or Lowe's.

Thanksgiving Great Buy
Great Buy at Best Price! So much more space, and departmental storage! I love the four french doors, especially in freezer sections! Frozen food is not stacked on top of each other, food stored in storage areas and drawers. I love timer alert if you leave doors open. Ice maker not in door space. Fit perfectly in standard space! Just in time for Thanksgiving Prep and Storage, worked GREAT!

Excellent use of space
I really like this refrigerator. It is quiet, well-lit, and has great space. We have very specific space limitations because we were replacing a side-by-side from 1999 that had a cabinet constructed specifically for it on one side and a wall on the other. Our main issue was the clearance on the door swing. This unit is great in that it doesn't need that extra 5" for the modern deep doors that other units require. It fits! It opens! The freezer is nice, too. We have a second freezer elsewhere, but this has enough space for the basics—the ice maker doesn't take up a lot of space. My one concern with this refrigerator is that the back wheels are not adjustable and therefore the unit is impossible to level front-to-back in an enclosed space—we have tried everything. Our floor is slightly textured and the wheels must sitting in a low point because the unit leans back slightly. This may be to facilitate the doors closing "automatically," too. I could not find any documentation on it. Nevertheless, I would purchase this unit again. Best Buy delivered it quickly and neatly, too.
