Loving our new fridge! We switched to a side by side after having a bottom drawer freezer. Much better! If you have a larger family you may need a bigger fridge, but this one is perfect for a small family. However, it did great with extra food during the holidays.

This is the second fridge (WHIRLPOOL) I've purchased for two different homes. I love my fridge. I don't have to purchase water from the store or Ice in the summer during the hot days. Make sure you change the filter every six-months. It works great!

The fridge is a great size and very minimalistic! We like the space in both the freezer and fridge divisions! There are plenty of shelves and cabinets in both and allows for easy organization! It is easy and straightforward to change settings of the fridge and is very functional!

In the beginning, there was a mix-up with the survey appointment, which was cancelled by the store without our knowledge. We waited at home all day and no one showed up. The store manager at the Brook Road/Glen Allen, VA location never called back, so we drove to the store. The manager couldn’t confirm why the appt was cancelled, but he couldn’t do anything about it because it was scheduled by Geek Squad, not Best Buy, even though Best Buy sold me the fridge and set up the appt. My guess is that they had a “call-out.” The next day, our fridge was delivered. The Best Buy rep assured us that the delivery team can hook up the stainless steel hose to the fridge. This was not true! We had to spend another $300.00 to hire a plumber. The fridge itself is very nice and it matches our other appliances. It’s less noisy than our other fridge. The only noise I hear is from the ice maker when dropping and making ice. You can use Lysol wipes to clean the front of the stainless steel fridge. The front and sides are magnetic. I just don’t like how wide the door swings open. Other than that, I am satisfied with the fridge. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably buy big ticket appliances from Lowe’s because the in-store reps at Lowe’s seem more knowledgeable and they warned me that I didn’t have the correct hook-up and that I needed to hire a plumber beforehand. The Best Buy rep told me differently, but it seems like he was more concerned about making a quick sale. I will still shop at Best Buy for smaller electronic items though.

The refrigerator is a great piece for any home that cools quickly and efficiently. It runs very quietly and the light is a cool blue which is very soothing

This was a replacement for a very similar 15 year old Whirlpool refrigerator and the design improvements are evident. From simple things like concealing the door hinges on top, having only two versus four levelers, to seemingly more efficient and open storage space inside, I give high marks for attention to details. The door panel controls are also much more streamlined. The jury is still out on the ice maker. It works fine and the ice is a good size but the apparatus is basically fully hidden and difficult to access manually versus a visible container. Since ice makers never last as long as the appliance may last, one assumes this is planned obsolescence to encourage quicker replacement. All in all, for the price paid, a very solid choice.

Since I purchase this item everything seem to work good. It does have a lil loud sound but not to bad. I Though the whole refrigerator was stainless steel but it wasn't just the refrigerator door's are...but so far so good hopefully no complaints in the future.

Purchased sight unseen online and was not disappointed when it arrived. The finish is smooth and it works well. There is noise at times but nothing that can't be overlooked. Pleased with my purchase.

Great fridge for the price. The only negative I would say because of the way the ice machine is made there sometimes is ice that melts causing a puddle in the tray.

Looks good & works good so far. Have had Whirlpool products for years. This replaced a 20 year old whirlpool refrigerator. Shelves are a little different which you have to get used to but is fine.

Our refrigerator died so we bought this one Labor Day week because it was on sale. Everything was fine until second week the refrigerator door makes a VERY loud noise EVERY time you open it. Geek squad came out twice did his best to try to fix it but couldn’t. He left me his cell number to txt or call him to fix it again. When I called he said he didn’t know how to fix it and that he can’t repair it. He said he was going to find out. Well I’ve txted him twice and no response. No one knows how to fix this bizarre noise !!! It’s really a good refrigerator except my bad luck with a bizarre refrigerator noise. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS PLEASE HELP! Extremely upset!!!

Excellent refrigerator purchase. Never had a side by side before and I’ve been very impressed so far. Lots of interior space and the ice maker is fantastic Always plenty of ice. The water filter accessibility is awesome to have outside on bottom.

Everything works well. The design of the in-door water results in water dripping down the door front. Not the best design.

My refrigerator gave out during the pandemic. I had to find something fast and didn't have many choices with the side by side option. That being said, this one works great to get the job done. It would not have been my first choice, but it is what it is. What I found after using it...1) the drawers for produce & cheese, etc. are horrible! They do not open/close very easily. It is cheap plastic with the worst sliding mechanism possible. 2) The water/ice dispenser is totally different than we are used to. The ice dispenser works great and is lit when in operation. The water dispenser is in front of the ice dispenser and does not light up when in operation. Therefore, I cannot just walk in the kitchen & refill my glass without having to turn on my overhead lights or I cannot see when the glass is full. Not a major problem, but just an inconvenience. Why would they make it without a light feature when the light is already there for the ice portion? Also, with the water dispenser being in front of the ice dispenser, I have to hold my glass there a few seconds after filling or the final drips after releasing the fill bar will drip down the door to the floor. It is not positioned to catch any drips in the tray. 3) The ice maker has a hard time keeping up with my family's use of ice. It is summer and we are using more than other months, but I've never had an issue with other ice makers. 4) space...it is 24.6 cu ft, which is only 1 cu ft smaller than my previous refrigerator, but the layout is horrible as far as space. The drawers are about 2/3 the size of my previous refrigerator and the ice maker & dispenser takes up so much space in the freezer that it doesn't leave much room for food. I'm now having to make more frequent trips to the store because there isn't enough space. When this pandemic shortage is all over, the refrigerator will either find its way to a new owner or to my garage as a secondary refrigerator for my family. I am grateful that I was able to receive it within a week after my other one broke and like I said, it does work properly and no mechanical issues thus far.

I’m having problems with the icemaker. I’m just trying to figure it out. I’ve been reading my little pamphlet and I think the water filter thing has gone through by now, but I’m still scared to drink the water.

This thing is noisy and makes noises like an MRI machine. When I say noisy I mean you can here it from 15ft away. I walked in the door and asked my wife if she had left clothes in the washer. It was the refrigerator. Water is warm, coming from the water dispenser. Water dispenser is slow when done getting water. Once you pull a cup away it keeps on going for about a split second, spilling water on the floor. Last, these things no longer come in boxes it took 4 tries before we got one with no dents or dings. They all come from same hub in Dallas to stores in San Antonio. The second came shrink wrapped, looked like it was used. The rest came in fixed plastic wrap but were dented. One looked like a pallet jack had rear ended the back. They need to box them in styrofoam again. They already don’t make them like they used to, now we need to deal with careless delivery people.

I love this refrigerator and the finish looks great in my kitchen with white cabinets/black hardware.

I haven’t had any issues with this refrigerator, except for the ice maker. All plastic parts and the technician who replaced under warranty, which I highly recommend having, said that most, if not all new refrigerator ice makers break every year or so.
