A: See my question just under yours on Most Recent Questions filter. Yes, there is an ice maker on/off switch but to get to it you have to remove the entire ice tray. Push up on the front of the ice tray and carefully pull out. Be gentle as your are working with plastic slides and a full tray is quite heavy. I also have to use my other hand to support the back and main body of the tray. After pulling out there is a black rocker switch on the underside of the ice making unit. Push the side with the white circle for on. Push the black side for off. This is very bad design as most units I have had in the past had a very easy to reach lift bar to cut off the ice maker. To reinstall tray line up with glides, push in and up slightly on the front. Once all the way in (and that takes patience and care to avoid breaking plastics) let the front drop down a bit to lock in place. If the glides do not slide well lubricate with Vaseline jelly.
Q: Do the white model's doors have a texture or are they a flat WHITE? ...metal for magnets?

Q: How to put back the sheves and drawers

A: I wouldn't recommend it, it looks good with the white handles, they don't seem to be the older style which yellow with age, the material used for the handles seems to be the same as the door

Whirlpool did not disappoint
I payed for this refrigerator in June and read the reviews AFTER purchase and started to have regrets before it arrived at my house. To my surprise it looked Great inside/out and wasnt noisy and the water doesn't drip out after usage like some people are saying. The right door handle sits slightly higher than the left- is the only thing i didnt like, but the Geek Squad said as you put more items in the door it should align up perfectly. We'll See

Works great, looks nice in my white kitchen
Good size, works great, led lighting is nice, only thing people should be aware of is that the fridge is not the same exact one as this picture shows because the little panel above the water and ice dispenser area is actually black, not white, which I kinda expected since that is how this model looks on the whirlpool website, I was hoping that part would be white like the picture but oh well, still looks really nice, best buy needs to correct the picture on their site

Pleased With My New Frig
Great refrigerator so far (two weeks). Only thing that I can think of that could use improvement is it could be a little quieter.
