This is my first new washer for over 20 years, so maybe this is true of all newer ones optimized for low water use. Takes a much longer time to complete cycles compared to the old machine. I like the lack of a central agitator, but sometimes large items flatten out on the bottom and don't spin dry properly. Solution is to push them to the side and do another spin.

This machine gets the clothes clean. A little loud but works as expected.

Love this washer. Wonderful for it's price. Just as good as my mothers $1,000.00 washer. It's quiet , and you can fit huge loads.

I enjoy the extra large unobstructed tub. I can wash my blankets and comforters without having to stuff them in the machine. It uses little water. I wasn't sure that it was enough to wash the loads but it works fine. Rating it good because I just bought it and don't know how it will be for the long run. My last washer lasted 12 yrs. Don't know if they make them like that anymore.

This unit uses much less water than old conventional unit we had, must say, even though it does take a little longer to go through a cycle, the results are very good. Easy set up and simple operating features.

I love that I don't have to arrange the clothes in the washer and it doesn't spin unbalanced. It does make a load humming noise as it is sensing water levels though.. Fortunately, it's in the basement. I also like that it is a top loader so that it can be open when not in use and not get that funky smell I've noticed in front loaders.

I love this Washer. Very easy to operate even for my young children. Efficient and fast.

Been using it for almost 2 months and the clothes come out really clean. Super easy to use, I use the same settings for most loads so I rarely even have to turn the knobs. I just push the start button and go.

Conserves energy and takes on large amounts of clothing. Clothes come out washed evenly.

With no agitator, the capacity for loads is good. You don’t have to worry about the water level as it senses the correct level. It runs different than my previous washer, so I had to adjust to the cycling. The water doesn’t start until after you close the lid so I can’t rinse the detergent cup. Will probably switch to pods so I won’t have that problem.

I love this washer. Got it because my used one needed a new transmission. Tons of room. Can fit about 6 blankets and they wash just fine. My friend works at the local Best Buy and he helped us get a good deal.

Great choice for a washing machine for the price. The inside of the machine is quite large.

This is by far the best washer I ever had, large capacity. No agatating arm , makes it great for blankets and other large items. Stainless drum keeps close smelling clean.

Overall a great easy to use washer with no agitator I have to remember to spray clothes but still cleans great.

Love this washer. It has a lot of space so I am able to wash my large comfronters with out any issues. It's very simple to use with each setting labeled so there is no confusion.

Purchased this washing machine to replace my 16 year old Amana washing machine. That Amana was a beast with a commercial size stainless steel tub. After it started to go bad I called for service and was heartbroken when I was told they could not get anymore parts for the machine. I went to the store looking for the closest washing machine I could find that was NOT a front loader. Well after looking at a number of different brands and models we decided on this model due to the number of cycles, super capacity and stainless tub. After hooking it up and using it I'm somewhat disappointed with how these new (HE) high efficiency washing machines work. It barely covers the clothes in the tub by utilizing some water saving sensor. It also takes an average of 40 minutes per load. I used to be able to do 4 loads an hour with the old Amana but now I can only do 1. I will probably never use half of the the different wash options but I guess that's how all these new washing machines are. So it looks like this is what we the consumers are stuck with.

For an appliance you expect to keep for many years, durability is important, and something that you just don't know after a few weeks. My clothes washer needs are simple, and for that this Whirlpool is fine, so far. It does make an occasional loud click or thump that was disturbing at first, but I assume that is just how the washer rolls to clean the clothes. So far, so good.

Does the work I need , quietly efficiently. Is helping me to save on water already. Great Capacity, I can load my king size comforter and is washed well. I recommend this product
