I learned the hard way, ran down the front of the machine. Always put the soap in last! When water runs into the machine it is very loud.

Warranty service required at least 4 visits, with last visit replacing the entire drum assembly and motor due a bolt broken off in the drum drive shaft (basically the entire mechanical internals of the washer had been replaced at this point). The last service visit was 4/29/2018, taking 4 months to resolve the issue. Fast forward into early 2019, washer is making noises again... I call Whirlpool service, Whirlpool tells me the washer is out-of-warranty, even though they extended my warranty for another year due to multiple visits required to fix the washer. At this point, I have not got 1 full year of life out the washer without a service call required or washer operating with failing componentry. I communicated with Whirlpool analyst that I have not received good value from this product, but I am told that I am on my own to foot the bill for any repairs.. Listen to attached video for the noise level coming from the washer now.... I will not be buying a Whirlpool product again...

This wash machine has never worked right

The laundry never got spun out increasing drying time immensely. Best Buy customer service has never given us any satisfaction. A rating for Best Buy would be below "poor" also. Whirlpool has sent out 2 different techs with new parts being ordered and tried with no resolution. The brand new washer can't be used. We are continuing to wait for another part that is on order and another visit from a service technician. Phone calls to Whirlpool average 50 minutes of being on hold before even talking with a customer service person. So, even though I have a new machine I paid for, I am still spending a lot of time and money at a laundromat each week.
