This by far the worst washing machine EVER! Bought it January it broke in April. First time the bearing failed - replaces entire drum. As they were Changing out the drum they saw that the rubber seal had holes in it. Nothing was replaced that day because they have to make all repairs at the same time. By this time we are 20+ days and 2 repair visits with nothing being done. We had to buy a used washing machine at our own expense because whirlpool refused to compensate us for the inconvenience/incompetence. Five weeks after my initial call the machine was fixed. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! If it breaks again I will just wait till the year warranty with whirlpool is up and use the BEST BUY warranty. Ask a rep at Best Buy about the warranty process involving whirlpool. The machine is LOUD. It does not drain well. There soooo many things I dislike about this machine and the matching dryer to enumerate them all would exceed the character limits. I like the placement of the drain tube.

It’s meh. If given the chance I would have chosen another brand.

The control panel sometimes works and sometimes not. In the middle of a cycle it will start chiming and the 3,2,1, countdown will start repeating. It takes up to three times and turning off the machine each time to get it to start. It also vibrates terribly during most spin cylces.

6 months ago I bought this equipment to replace the one I had, I bought it from this capacity so as not to have problems with the load of clothes that I put in each wash and it turns out that I can not even throw what I put in the old one that was more small because the drum starts to sound as if it were going out of place, I called to come and check to see what it could be and the answer was that I need to put fabrics of the same type just for washing and that I can not put even small comforters because the Team is not done for that. So I ask, why do I want such a big team and that tells me that it has a bulky and heavy duty cycle if I can't use it? For me it is the most bad purchase that I have been able to make in Whirlpool, in my opinion not a single star deserve. I am a person like any other who, when I buy something of this type, I do it out of necessity, not for luxuries, therefore I do not want to be robbed and told me that he is not ready for what he is supposed to do.

Was really disappointed in this washer. We've always had Whirlpool appliances, but the quality has definitely gone downhill. Made a lot of noise, and load came unbalanced easily even though the washer itself was level. Ended up returning it and getting an LG, which we like much better so far.

Unfortunately it was bad from day one, too loud, looked like the drum was not balanced, the cloth came out wet after every wash so had to use a drain and spin setting after every wash. Just had it replaced to a different model.

Had this washer for less than two years and the control board died. Tried to reach out to Whirlpool support and they wouldn’t do anything to help. Paid for an appliance repair company to fix it, and the replacement board, (which took 6 weeks to ship) was DOA, directly from Whirlpool. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Have had washer less then a month and its already broken down. Glad I purchased the 5-year warranty. I would not recommend this washer.

Door latch is plastic; bottom drawer doesn't close completely without something heavy in front of it; installation guys did a terrible job and I had to have a second trip, but washer now "walks". Installation a nightmare.

I’m waiting for a replacement dryer. It has been erratic on a daily basis. Will it come on today ???? Yes. I can dry things. Nope. Maybe tomorrow.

I got this washer in May 2020. It was installed with the stacking kit on top of the matching dryer. As soon as it starts getting regular uses, it starts to make loud noises during spin cycle as if it is about to break off the dryer. My contractor checked with Best Buy to make sure he got the right stacking kit and remeasured to make sure everything was installed plumb and level. We tested it with various amount of loads and anything more than a few shirts will throw it completely off balance. It's starting to sound like a serious manufacturing defect. I am still working through the customer service maze to see what can be done.

6 service calls in the first 8 months. Now no lights or operation and their warranty service is quoting 4 weeks before a tech can come out. Then probably another 10 days to get parts and installation. Unacceptable for a family of six. GARBAGE products t and GARBAGE service. DO NOT BUY!

I’ve had the dryer since the 25th. It hasn’t worked once. Best Buy made an appointment with me and then didn’t show without any notice. It’s now been two weeks of dirty laundry accumulating in my home and they just pushed a repair/replacement further. You’d think with them losing business to Amazon, they’d do a better job with simple things like this. Horrible. Horrible experience. Go anywhere else like to Amazon.

1) Makes too much noise. 2) Control panel looks cheap (i.e cheap plastic) Opportunity for Whirlpool engineers to charge more but provide better quality.

I was so excited to get this and upgrade my last Whirlpool front load that was over 10 years old. It worked great for the first month but we started having problems with it after that related to the motherboard. Errors would pop up on the screen anytime we’d change from 1 cycle to another (regular to sanitary for example).

I bought this brand because I wanted to buy American made....sorry to say I am going to have to return this. It is so loud, as is the companion dryer. There is a clanking noise on both units that sounds like the machine needs a good oiling! Definitely disappointed.

Returned with in my 2 week return policy. Called whirlpool 3 different times on hold each time for at least 1 hour. First duet 13.5 years no problems. Finally main board went out Part was over $200. Didn't want to stick that much money into 13 year old machine.
