After only 3 years of minimum use, today, this washer broke already!! The drain and spin cycle stopped working. This item has very poor durability. Now I’m not sure how long the twin dryer that I bought with this will last before it also breaks down. Terrible!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We have had this washer for 3 years and are giving up. After about 1 year (just after the warranty expired), it displayed a suds (Sd) warning for no reason with almost every wash, and could not finish a cycle. I had to drain and spin after every wash to get rid of all the excess water. I got Whirlpool to send out technicians twice. They eventually replaced the motherboard. A year later, the same issue. Again, despite everything I try (different cycles, changing the concentration setting for the HE washing liquid, anything I can think of), the machine keeps giving me error messages and can't finish a wash. I don't have time for this anymore. No more Whirlpool washers for me. Which is a shame because the Duet I bought before this version lasted 18 years. Pity Whirlpool screwed up a good thing.

It is a good washer. I like the large capacity so I do not have to wash so many loads .

Within first 6 months something was off and its just gotten worse. Oh well, Too late to return, and talking to thier reps was useless. Complicated controls that are complicated just for the sake of it. A small load will vibrate the house at medium spin. Don't think of using high spin on towels or jeans, shakes the entire house and its only gotten worse the last two years of ownership. You woukd think an imbalanced load issue. If thats the case then every load I have ever done in this thing is imbalanced. To think this is one of thier top of the line units... The matching dryer hasnt proven to be any better. Wont buy Whirlpool again. You shouldnt either. Only positive its like buying a washer and getting a massaging mattress as a bonus purchase.

The washing machine was good but doesnt last long cleaned the filter, the rubber seal and manually drain it ever 6 months but now getting error codes of E1, F9, SD, only 4 years and it doesn't want to drain need a better drainage.

It didn't even last 2 years. If you buy this make sure you get an extended warranty. The electronics in it are terribly poor quality. If there is a problem you have to unplug it to get the door open. Then it just shows the code "PF" which means power fault, and the only way to clear that is to run undocumented self tests. I had an option to repair this or replace. I'm so disgusted with it I'm replacing it.

our 13yo machine broke, we decided to buy USA and went w/ whirlpool but This model sucks. I just got off the phone w/ a customer care for 1.5hrs after the technician came to our house to run a diagnostic on the machine after I had a soapy leak and noticed suds coming out the back of my machine after only 10 weeks in my home. I put my 6 yo's twin bed comforter, pressed bulky heavy duty and only put in half level amount of HE soap when I ran it to find water and soap coming out from under my machine. The technician says that I overloaded...he said a "normal" load should be 1 shirt, 1 underwear, and 1 jeans! No one washes one outfit at a time. they must have no moms on the engineering team. The manual is written with false information, this machine cannot hold a small comforter as it claims on the manual, the computer cannot self-stop an overflow, and you cannot read codes that are listed in the troubleshoot page of the manual. This is 2019 and almost 2020, technology should NOT be this difficult. Whirlpool, I'm disappointed.

First day with this washer and I hate it. Started playing around with the different settings and discovered that it takes HOURS to wash 1 load??? No thanks, I don’t have time for that. Our old duet was 32 min and that was HE. How was nobody else reporting this in the reviews??? This is ridiculous!!! It’s prob going back, doing laundry for a family of 5 impossible with this machine unless of course your somebody who enjoys doing laundry constantly? Nope, not me, no thanks!!!

I wish I had never bought this washer. I have not been able to use it since I purchased it. I called a tech out a few weeks after buying it and because it was under Whirlpool warranty, Whirlpool sent a contracted tech who looked at it with an electronics tester but never checked anything else-like maybe the shocks. He charged me over 100.00 for the visit and did nothing to address the issue. The washer shakes violently, is very loud and once it hits the spin cycle it is so violent in it's motion and so loud that I have to end the cycle and just rinse the clothes in the sink. I'm still under Best Buy warranty. Guess I should try a service call with them because Whirlpool was useless.

This washer was delivered to my home on 8/18/2021. I have already had 2 service calls. A new circuit board was order today. I was told this is "typical"...seriously, a washing machine that is 1 month old needs new parts..!!! If you choice to buy this washer make sure to send in the Warranty Card & buy an Extended Warranty...!

Took delivery in August 2019...immediately had to exchange because the unit flooded the laundry room...now leaking again. I am attempting to escalate to return and start over...I'm sure that won't work out well as we are past the 15 day limit.

Machine died in 3 years. So disappointed in this product!
