We purchased this washing machine to go in a rental property. The space is small so a stack-able unit was needed. This washer is a full size yet it fits perfectly on the unit. It is efficient and easy to use. We have always had great success with Whirlpool washing machines and dryers.
Tenants are very happy.

We purchased the Whirlpool 4.5 CU Front-Loading Washer on the advice of an appliance repairman after our 3 year-old Whirlpool top-loading washer broke and would have cost more to repair than to replace.
Clothes tend to have more wrinkles, which I believe is due to the speed of the spin cycles. Washer is also a little noisier than our top-loader, but clothes are cleaner and the front-loader uses less detergent.
The only thing I would do differently is to buy the next size up (5.0 Cu) so I could wash my king-size comforter at home.

Washing Machine is quiet and very efficient compared to my last unit. It can fit a large load of clothes no problem and has many different settings for wash. Install was easy.

I should have been concerned when the delivery person left a minute shy of testing the spin cycle. With nothing in it, it had an incredible vibration and made this loud whirring sound as it spun. I also noticed when the end of cycle chimed, I could barely hear it standing within 5 feet of the machine. I should mention I previously owned a Whirlpool Duet that did not last as long as I would have liked (the bearings went out), but it was a great machine up until that point which is why I purchased another. Even the door and encasement was much flimsier on this new model. It appeared the quality wasn't there. I decided to run a load of sheets and when it hit the spin cycle it initially vibrated so horribly, it looked like it was going to dance across the floor, with an intermittent thunk. It slowed down so I left it to finish up. I came back to check and it had 1 minute to go so I thought I would stand and wait until it completed. I kept thinking this was the longest minute of my life. It turned out to be true. It continued a slow spin that I believe would have gone on for an eternity had I not finally turned it off. I opened the door and my sheets were soaking wet. I was left to try and wring out 3 queen sized sheets. I finally got them in the dryer and hoped I that it wouldn't break due to the amount of water still remaining in the sheets. I called the next morning, arranged for a return, and immediately ordered a LG for the first time.

So far we love our new washer. It’s quieter and faster than the old one. It replaced a 3 year old whirlpool we purchased new. I was unhappy the old one only lasted 3 years but we are gonna try whirlpool again.

1. Great Prince with lots of advanced functions. About $200 lower than Korean Brand. It do have the "STEAM" function.
2. Transparent door is nice and front loading does save a lot of water.
3. 38 different washing functions, however, it is lacking independent control of advanced features such as steaming actions instead it is included in some of functions.

Great washer!! I love the ease of use on this machine. The load and go feature was what really sold me on it. I load soap once every few weeks and the washer figures out the rest.

Purchased a washer and dryer. You can stack them or not. We stacked them due to limited space. Can wash a queen size comforter with space left over. Runs quiet! Would highly recommend.

Replace Whirlpool Duo

Comparable to my whirlpool duo that I had. Very quiet. My only complaint would be the door has a magnet on it so it feels like it is not closed, but that is just something to get used to. Love the different cycle options. As I said, it is comparable to my duo and I had no complaints on it, so no major complaints on this one.

We needed a new washer and dryer for our condo and getting a quiet set was top priority. I can say that this washer checks all the boxes. There are a ton of different settings and it doesn't make much noise. Very happy with this purchase!
