    Works great quite Best Buy was horrible trying to get my $150 gift card 2 hrs on hold getting bounced around till Best Buy disconnected me

    I bought this to replace my old washer I had for over 10 years. It has a few upgrades. I love it! You can't go wrong with this one if you love clean clothes that smell great!

    Easy to install an started using it right away. Love how it has has different settings for types of loads. The de sanitize option works great on kids sports clothes.

    Clothes are extremely wet after wash cycle ends. Washer is Not stable. It moves around during washing

    Terrible product, terrible service

    There is a reason why Whirlpool washing machines get a one star rating from Consumer Affairs. My machine died four months after purchase. Best Buy won't replace after 30 days so you have to use Whirlpool. They have an unlimited visit warranty which means, you like me, may be waiting for 2+ months (as in may case), and still not have a functioning washing machine. 1st tech appointment - cancelled and rescheduled 2nd tech appointment - tech confirmed board was dead. Had to order replacement board for next visit. 3rd tech appointment - tech replaced board with new board, it also didn't function. Tech advised that Whirlpool washer and dryers are known for multiple board failures. He noted sometimes he has to replace a board three times with with new units before one will work. Meanwhile, each trip is a two week turnaround. 4th trip - vendor cancelled the appointment on the day of and rescheduled for two weeks later. By my next appointment it will be 2.5 months without a functioning washer. And no guarantees that board will work. Will whirlpool ever replace their faulty unit?

    Delivery workers denied install.

    The two delivery workers who were supposed to install this washer denied to install it. First of all it was a father and his 10 year old son who did not look capable of carrying the new washer up to the second floor. As a total tech member i got the haul away option added so they they can remove the old washer and move it into my garage. The worker denied to do the service and made excuses about the washer being too heavy. He wanted to leave the new washer in my garage but what good does that serve me? They took the washer back to the store and left me with having to reschedule for another date with other workers who are actually capable of doing the job. What a horrible experience.

    Way too noisy

    Avoid this unit. Washes okay, but the noise is way, way too loud. It’s really a shame our old washer died because it wasn’t nearly so loud although supposedly was from a “lesser quality” brand. No amount of adjustment or leveling has - I tried, two Geek Squad visits later and it is definitely level - has worked.

    Requires a Tech to Clean Drain Filter

    The washing machine has no easy access to the drain filter. So, in order tp perform what should be regular cleaning and maintenance, you have to remove the back cover, and take the drain pump out. Which will likely have to be done by a technician. When we contacted Whirlpool, they would not send a tech out to even look at it. After two weeks, we've decided to just replace the washer from a different company with one that has access to the filter.

    This machine was not well designed. The drain is located behind the large main front panel of the washing machine (which has to be completely removed by a repairman to drain the machine). Most washers have a drain in front of the machine which makes it easy to turn the cap and drain any excess debris or water. NOT THIS ONE!

    Malfunctions all the time

    We purchased this washer a year ago and have had nothing but problems. I have had a technician come out to fix it at least 10 times. That’s unacceptable for a brand new washer. Save your money. Unfortunately we’re looking at havkfn to purchase a new one since whirlpool wont replace.

    metal on metal/ wasp/beehive nest

    Had first dryer replaced for Metal-on-metal noise. Sounds like a wasp/beehive. Replacement dryer still makes the noise. I just don't want to have to wait for days and hours to get it replaced.

    Do NOT use their delivery service! Not sure about the units because Best Buy can't get this delivered and it's been almost two months. Go somewhere that does appliance sales and service better or you will be sorry.
