Great high capacity washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great washer for a large family. I have three kids which means lots of laundry throughout the week. Plus blankets, jackets, and everything else you can think of. This washer can handle it all. After a walk through on how to operate it from the installer we have been using it non-stop. It is quieter than most washers while still being simplistic to use. Overall great washer.

Nice Washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice washer. I like the options for deep fill. The faucet function is nice since I use liquid and I don’t have to put the soap right on the clothes. The removal agitator is very nice for large blankets. The cleaning cycle will not let you do anything if it hasn’t been ran approx 1 month. I’m glad I read that in a review prior to buying the washer! The only thing I dislike is that it doesn’t have dispensers for soap and rinse. I will never go back to front load. This washer costs me about $20 a month more but my clothes are cleaner!

Whirlpool washer with removable agitator
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like having the option to use or remove the agitator. I don't like how loud the machine is when it's running. (If you have a laundry room with a door you can close, this may not be a big deal.) Also, there is no tray to pour liquid detergent, so I either have to use pods/packs, or pause the cycle just before the wash cycle begins to add the liquid.

Loud machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your last washing machine was quiet, this is not the washer for you. It is extremely loud. I would have bought a different one if I realized this. It is nice having the removable agitator.

Did Whirlpool Forget Their Decades of Knowledge?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had owned a matched Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer for around ten years before the washer crapped out (dryer is still running fine). The replacement Whirlpool washer lasted maybe three years. the replacement to the replacement washer, which I'm reviewing here, has lasted only eight months. Hey, I really want to like Whirlpool, being U.S. made and all, but they are making it really, really hard. I mean, it's not like Whirlpool is new to the washing machine business. It's not like washer electronics are super advanced. And it's not like designing for quality and reliability is a new concept to sophisticated American manufacturers. But from my recent experience, and judging from others' complaints, how can an experienced manufacturer on something relatively simple as a washing machine have worse than even 3 sigma reliability for the machine overall? There should be no excuse for not attaining this. So am I forced to go to LG or some other manufacture who has got it together? Like I said, I want to be proud of buying, having, and recommending a Whirlpool product. I agree with most other viewers that this machine does a great job of getting clothes clean. That's truly amazing, as scant few other clothes washers can accomplish this feat. However, after about eight months of producing astoundingly clean clothing, it malfunctioned. Specifically, one day, it ran through the wash cycle, but then stopped after tub filled for the rinse cycle. As much as I like my clothes to be rinsed thoroughly, rinsing forever seemed a bit excessive. Lacking any apparent error message capability on the display to de-code, the solution was obviously to unplug the machine, resetting the electronics, and have another go. That seemed to work. On the plus side, my load got really super clean, unbelievably clean, I mean clean like never before seen in history. On the down side, it failed again a few loads later. But I unplugged and re-set the electronics again, and once again I was rewarded with a load of laundry that was so exceedingly clean I just had to show my neighbor. My neighbor feinted, and I said, "Right?" Anyway, I got a little tired of having to reset the electronics by hand, so I called Whirlpool. Fortunately the machine was still within the warranty window of one year. Whirlpool, after hearing my description of the problem, said they'd have a local third party repair shop get on it right away, in about 2.5 weeks. That's whether you've opted for the extended warranty or not, in case you are wondering. I can see how this is going to go. The tech comes out, and this problem doesn't happen. A month later, the problem is diagnosed, but parts are needed. A month after it MIGHT be fixed. Or it has to be replaced. When it was working, my only complaints were extreme noise when filling with water (Whirlpool, come on, you aren't nubes at this), and a lid that became creaky the last few inches of travel before closing.

Whirlpool 4.7-4.8 cu ft. top load washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My family loves this washing machine and the large capacity it has. Cuts time spent doing laundry down. I can wash my body pillow and our sleeping bags in it. No more going to the laundry mat. I like the fact it has a removable agitator but haven't used it that way yet.

However, the install was a nightmare. I have yet to hear back from a member that I requested a call from. If that could be arranged I would greatly appreciate it.

Hate this Machine!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely HATE this product! I never write reviews. But, feel the need. I have hated this machine from the start. I didn't realize that I could have returned it within `14 days or I would have. It is terribly loud, it wrinkles clothes so bad - extremely tight wrinkles and tons of them that they don't even come out in the dryer, it doesn't get blankets clean, there's no basket at the top to catch any lint or animal hair. The extra large capacity is useless as it doesn't get the water out on sheets or blankets. I tried to turn the spin cycle on to get it to wring out the excess water and it wouldn't let me. I'm trashing this one and buying something else. Also, it's companion dryer is very frustrating. The top is curved, so you can't stack stuff on it as gravity eventually causes anything to fall to the floor and when you pull out the lint screen, it makes an absolute mess on the top of the machine. I HATE both of these machines so bad that my laundry is so backed up because of the anxiety of dealing with these machines.

Perfect Washer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We wanted a top load and weren't really interested in any "Smart" technology so we went with this Whirpool model and matching electric dryer. It holds a ton of clothes and has a removable agitator for delicates. Great buy for the price.

Sold Washer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had an overall good experience with this washer. I like that you can pick temp for each cycle. I also enjoy being able to remove agitator for large blankets. We have only had the washer for a few months that's why I am not giving 5 stars. Unsure how it will hold up.

It had me at removeable agitator
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is quiet and has the versatility I want with the removable agitator. I want to give it 4.5 stars for its efficiency, speed, and options. I am only reducing it by one-half because I don't love the way it functions with large bulk items. I don't always think it covers the blanket even on deep fill and it won't give you that laundromat agitation on larger items. Overall I would definitely by again=)

Washer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good washer, but the filling in water is different. I know newer models are set to save water and this washer will only fill up to a certain level, if you have a big load youll have to stop the washer and press faucet to fill up the washer, thats the only thing that bother me other than that is a good washer.
