Whirlpool Washer with removable agitator

Nothing work right, it takes hours to do 1 load of laundry, and there are a lot of manual tasks that you need to do, like prevent it from soaking for hours, rewash clothes because the Tide pods did not suds up during the wash cycle, I have to change the cycle to get it to drain and spin, horrible machine. The ability to control when to add the detergent and fabric softener has been taken away by the locking kid, which you can release by stopping the cycle but the problem is that there is no rinse indicator, so there is no way to know when to add the softener. It's also very loud. Don't waste your money.

The only drawback is the drum is very deep, great for washing, but not so for shorter people. This is a great machine.

1. Cycle Modifiers and Water Level Selection
Modifiers: After selecting a cycle, you can adjust default modifiers like Soil Level, Spin Speed, and Temperature using the cycle settings buttons. Not all settings are available for every cycle.
Water Level (If applicable):
Auto Sensing: Turns the Water Level knob to this setting to allow the machine to automatically sense the appropriate water level for the load size.
Deep Water Wash: Turns the Water Level knob to this setting to add the maximum amount of water. Note: This option may lead to longer cycle times due to extended fill times.
2. Bulky Cycle Operation (On some models)
The Bulky Cycle uses a series of fills while agitating. It may appear to have insufficient water, but the washer will continue to add water over 10-12 minutes as sensors monitor the load.
Agitation during the fill improves cleaning and helps reach the optimal wash water level. The fill may pause occasionally for additional mechanical action.
3. Non-Agitator Models (Low-Water Wash Plate System)
The washer automatically adjusts the water level to the load size, and no water level selector is needed.
Loading: Load items in loose heaps evenly around the wash plate. Keep the center uncovered.
Important: Do not add more water. Excess water can cause clothes to float, lessening the cleaning action because the clothes must engage with the impeller.
4. Clean Washer Cycle
If you feel the water level is lower than when you first started using the washer, run a Clean Washer cycle to re-calibrate the control and reset factory-set water levels.
Run this cycle about once a month or every 30 cycles.
Maytag recommends using affresh®, which cleans deep inside the appliance, reaching components like the tub, pump, and hoses.

These new efficient washers suck. I took out the agitator put a comforter in and when it was done the middle of the comforter still has soap on it and was powder dry. Had to hand wash it in sink cause my new fancy washer can’t wash it. Does ok on clothes if you don’t like them rinsed thoroughly and you want to add another rinse cycle. Glass top is super thin and flimsy. Motor makes all kinds of noises I’d be shocked if it lasts more than a couple months.
