Whirlpool washing machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The whirlpool washing machine is a good overall machine. Like the 2 in 1 agitator that you can remove for large loads and comforters. The wash cycles work well, like everything else you have to make slight adjustments as you learn how it works. Spin cycle is good. Average noise like most washers but not over the top. Wash time is a little longer than my previous washer. I would recommend this washing machine though it costs more than average.

Whirlpool
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gets clothes really clean. Washer is really loud. When filling with water the pressure of the water makes it so loud.

Fantastic machine up to this point.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally had purchased the 5.3 cu ft top load washer, but it was taking awhile for it to get it. Ordered this one instead and am quite pleased with its size and washing ability up to this point. Having the removable agitator is a nice feature for those bulkier items like a comforter.

Large and removable agitator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very roomy and ability to remove agitator a plus. Not sure if large enough to do a quilt. If so, a major plus.

Satisfied
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am satisfied with the machine. I really like the removable agitator - it gives more options depending on the load. And it has a great spin cycle. It could be considered a little loud, but I've not been bothered by it. If the laundry room is close to other living quarters, it may be an issue. I have no complaints - it works as advertised.

Another example of you get what you pay for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I purchased this unit for our new home. We figured the $700 price tag would warrant some safety and longevity considering there are some cheaper units. This unit has lasted us 1 year and 5 months and today we were told by multiple people that the drain pump for these unit are faulty. Most calls regarding drain pump issues are from this SKU. We now have to put an additional $400 for an original part + labor. For the actual use, it does what a washer is supposed to do: wash. Not many customization options and the water temp is usually around the same no matter what. You should definitely spend a bit more to get an LG washer. It'll save you time, money, and convenience in the long run.

All-around good choice washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We came in to Best Buy looking for a cheaper washer, but we chose this product instead. Really appreciate the removable agitator in the middle. This is a great washing machine very big. Just sort of strange that you can’t choose the size of your load though, and that is why I am giving it four stars.

We ordered it for two different houses
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently moved, but had this same model for the previous house. We decided to order it again for the new house. Does a good job cleaning clothes, and the removable agitator is a good feature for cleaning large items.

Whirlpool fits standard space
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised to learn that newer model washers and dryers are being made far wider than 10yrs ago, they dont fit traditional laundry closets. So, i found this whirlpool that met my measurement requirement. It washes well but i wish it had a soap dispenser instead of needing to pour the detergent in the drum before putting in clothes. It does wash well and without the agitator fits a king comforter

Good buy for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The starting sequence is confusing and the cycle sits on ‘soak’ for a long time before the cycle begins. Whole cycle is quite long, so takes all day to do several loads of wash. Accomodates large loads however . I like the removable agitator and the see through glass top. Reasonable price

Great Washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its not loud as the other reviews stated. It makes clothes very clean and in a good time frame. The only thing is, this is a brand new washer yet it doesnt come with any slots to put anything so it all goes directly into the washer and you have to use a downy ball. There is also no timer so you cant see how long is left

A World of Noise
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some exception to this Whirlpool Washer. Quit noisy, does not let you know when the rinse cycle comes on, does not have a timer to let you know how long the wash cycle is. Spin Cycle does not spin dry clothes thoroughly. Clothes come out sought of wet.

Good Washing Machine at a Decent Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like all different settings that are available and the removeable agitator. I also like the faucet which is convenient when scrubbing clothes to remove stains. So far, the only negative is that the spin cycle on some settings is a bit noisy but it doesn't bother me that much.

Agitator bottom cracked
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am writing to express my concern regarding the performance of my Whirlpool top-load washer, Model Number WTW5057LW, Serial Number Cd0502028, purchased in March 2024. Approximately May 10, 2025, just 60 days after the warranty expired, the removable agitator (Part Number: W11614636) began breaking apart at the bottom, causing it to no longer make a proper seal. This renders the washer less effective and raises concerns about the quality and durability of the part—especially since I only do about 1 to 2 loads of laundry per week. I contacted Whirlpool’s service department and was informed that I would need to purchase a replacement agitator, which I did at my own expense. While I understand that the warranty had just lapsed, I feel this failure so soon after the coverage period—especially with such light usage—indicates a premature defect and not ordinary wear and tear. My previous Whirlpool washer lasted over 20 years without such issues, which makes this situation particularly disappointing.

Washer works great
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this washer is great! Not to loud, My other Whirlpool was very loud. Seems to wash very nice and the clothes come out of the washer ready for the dryer without being wet at all. This washer drains all the water out of the clothes. The controls are very easy to use. Glad I made this purchase

Washer woes
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This looks nice. I’m not too fond of how it goes off balance and can’t recorrect itself! You can remove the agitator before blankets was the idea of the removable agitator. It’s still a job rearranging a wet big blanket to help it spin. I wish also it could tell you the minutes left to the load. It doesn’t even ding or buzz it just shuts off. Minor but annoying
