It is a push buttons (modern) and still trying to get used to it. We love it our new washer and highly recommended.

We don't have a basin in the washroom so I thought I'd use the prewash station more. The top isn't flat so you can't put things on top while it's running. It's annoying that you have to press and hold the start button.

After a confusing experience with a Samsung washer and returnung it, this is a welcomed change. It's a breeze to understand and ease of use is so welcomed. Actually tells you how long a cycle will take. Clothes are clean and the final spin cycle is so great that it cuts the drying time.
