Very disappointed with this purchase. The noise when on spin cycle is incredibly loud if it is even the slightest out of balance. My laundry is off my mudroom which connects to my kitchen. Even with the laundry room door closed holding a conversation with the person standing next to you would be impossible. I avoid being in my kitchen when it is running because it drives me insane. I figured something MUST be broken and need to be fixed or replaced. I thought "there was no way any company would put out a product like this and think people would be cool with it". I called whirlpool and tech arrived today. He told there is nothing technically wrong with the machine. Yes its obnoxiously loud. Whirlpool is aware so either deal with it or sell it. If you have young children in the house that nap or if you do laundry at night. If you have your laundry on the second floor or on the main level of your home seriously reconsider the purchase of this unit. This machine will drive you, your kids and your guests nuts. This machine is not even a year old and Im already planning to replace it. Only reason I gave it an extra star was because it actually does a decent job at putting out clean clothing.......but its SUPPOSED to do that. LOL

I have had this washing machine for 18 months and it makes the most ungodly loud grinding noise. It appears the plastic gears are grinding against each other. Since this began to happen I have seen numerous online posts from others that are experiencing the same thing. This is truly an unfavorable product.

Like the size and all the different options. Clothes seem cleaner than with our previous front loading machine.

digital buttons are very responsive. My machine came in spanish but was able to call customer service to quickly remedy

This machine really is fun to use - I know, laundry can be fun. Lots of options and the clothes gets clean.

Way to loud and shaky! If it’s going in the basement you will be okay if not then look for something else.

Like the size but its really loud. We've had it just over a year and having to get it serviced because the spin cycle was on for 4 hpurs.

I’ve had my washer for about 6 weeks, and it’s already having mechanical issues. It squeaks terribly when it is filling and spinning.

Literally had to check when I purchased this dryer as it went out in two years literally a spark came from the back of the dryer and smoke. Unacceptable for whirlpool products..

I’ve owned my washer now for a while and so far so good. It cleans my clothing and doesn’t damage them like my old washer did. I do like the self cleaning feature that this washer has. This is definitely a good buy.

Great machine. Short learning curve. Definitely takes a long time to wash...but with count down timer you know when to return. Biggest complaint= delivery refused to level an obviously unlevel machine. My nephew and I (recovering from a total knee replacement) had to do it ourselves. That's why it did not get 5 stars. Plus no call to notify us they were even going to arrive...the day before and the day of...
