    Leaking Oil On Clothes

    I've had this washer a little over a year now, it has been containing an oil smell for the past 3 months and making my clothes stained with what appears to be an oil substance. I am now under the impression that the unit has an oil leak somewhere in the drum.. This shouldn't be happening on an appliance that is hardly over a year old. I do not recommend this product, the previous/discontinued model was so much more reliable.

    Worst washer we have ever had, we have had multiple issues before and after the warranty expired and now the parts to fix cost more than the washer itself. And customer service is no help. Choose someone besides Whirlpool.

    Black stainless washer

    Rediculous service. Ordered all appliances over a month ago and still have yet to get them. Keep calling us to reschedule our order and everytime we reschedule, they call us to reschedule again the day of. Have called and asked to speak with a manager multiple times get told we will get a call back and never do. Do not recommend getting appliances delivered from best buy!!

    I purchased the full set back in March 2021 and in October 2023 the control board blew out and now I’m working with the home warranty people to purchase a new one.

    Buy if you like laundromats

    Purchased 3/1/21. Failed 12/10/21. Called for warranty repair. Servicer arrives 1/6/22. (3+ weeks). Need parts. They return 1/21/22. Need more parts. They return 2/21/22. (1 more month) Repair fails. Now will replace ever part they can think of. Call Whirlpool (again) - answer - we need to give the servicer a chance to fix it by 3/21/22. That’s 3 and a half months! If that fails they’ll decide what to do so no real timeframe for a resolution exists. It’s not just his washer - it’s Whirlpool’s warranty to avoid.
