We purchased this oven in November 2018, had it installed in our rental property in December 2018 and the tenants moved in February 2019. They quickly discovered that when the oven was on, the surface temperatures reached higher than normal temperatures. After two Whirlpool visits (who are the WORST customer service), they determined that the temperature was within industry standards, without stating what those standards were. It took a while to convince Best Buy to come out and look at the oven who determined when it was on at 475 degrees, the external temperature was 155.5 degrees and the upper limit is 160 degrees. The thought is that a "reasonable" person would only have their hand on the oven for a second and then remove it (as otherwise, yes, they would get burned). When I asked how is that reasonable with kids in the house, I was told to put a gate in front of the oven. Best Buy is also unwilling to do anything about this as we didn't report the issue within their defined timeframe. I repeat, DO NOT buy this oven!!!!!! And more importantly, any Whirlpool product as their customer service is a joke.

Im ok with the range. Takes a long time to pre heat. Otherwise so far so good.

Takes time to heat up, otherwise this range is fine. Cleans up pretty good.

I got this and was very unimpressed it felt super budget

Not a quality product. Oven drawer is paper thin, not on glides of any kind twists pulling it out and in. Glass top stains easily, worst I have ever had. Oven temperature is 50 degrees lower that the setting. Would not recommend this to anyone, very disappointing for a main in the USA.

They broke kitchen tile when putting down appliance

Drawer isn’t very stable. The top seems difficult to clean. Stove/burners work well

Nice stove but it seems to take forever to heat the oven to 450

Very different had to get use of the control panel and cooking times.

Only negative is stove top is hard to Clean but very nice look to it.

I only issue I have with this stove is when you close the oven door it shifts to the right and will be misaligned. I had it fixed but seems to do the samething.

Takes too long to preheat and harder to clean the cooking surface.

We have looked at so many Ranges and we found this one and yeah waste of time, money, and very disappointing. I am not sure if I got someone’s return or this Range was defective. First all it came scratched on the glass top, then when I turned the oven on the left side got extremely hot and the right side didn’t get that hot. Well I cooked something and the right side didn’t cook well it was undercooked. The left side was over cooked and burnt. Needless to say this range cooks uneven and it looks very cheaply made the glass top is very hard to keep Clean. So we returned it and got a different range. Broke 1.5 years after purchase, the controller board went bad, the following the microwave also failed. Repair cost wasn't too bad but expected many years of trouble free use.

This range was delivered to me on January 15, 2021. On March 9, 2022 I preheated the oven and there was a loud pop along with a spark. Now the oven takes nearly an hour to heat up to any temperature. The range is a little over a month out of warranty. I am so disappointed. I purchased a Whirlpool thinking I was getting a quality product with no need to purchase the extended warranty. I am hoping that Whirlpool will step up, stand by its product and make it right.

I think my oven is not matching the temperature i put it on. Is their any way i can get it set right. Im not happy with the way it bakes. Need help.

My stove cough fire today because the switchboard was showing off but the oven was on . Also the switch was changing from bake to boil by itself , the oven count on fire we had to brake the oven to be able to open it because was locked and finally we stop the fire with a fire extinguisher ,,,,, I do not recommend this product bought on October 2019

First day owning it the oven started to smoke with white smoke and it looked like there was about to be an electric fire.
