Called Whirlpool customer service because it was still under warranty and was told that’s “cosmetic, not a defect”. To me it’s a defect it a brand new appliance starts to change colors in 3 months of use. Tried to leave a review about this issue and their response on their website and my review was flagged by them and not posted. Be aware that Whirlpool will not post negative reviews that they don’t like.

Small load of clothes were dried Okay on sensor dry setting. The dryer was more noisy when running compared to my 12 years old dryer. Top metal panel was pushed in if you rest your elbow on it. The Best buy store easily ready to take back and provide different brand of my choice.
