My old Maytag began leaking gas so I needed a new one. Read the reviews from the Best Buy Web Site and picked this one. I'm amazed at the variety of controls and how nice the clothes come out. Really wrinkle free. Very nice.

This replaced a 35 yr old similar earlier model which served me well. However, this new dryer is even better. The many different cycles and temperatures mean that all types of fabrics are automatically dried properly and efficiently.

Seems like a good dryer. Not a lot of bells and whistles, just a good basic machine. Hoping it will last a long time.

Purchased this over some of the more flashy and expensive ones. I have a fully smart home, but didn't trust the electronics on a washer/dryer (especially because of everything going on with Samsung's washer and dryer). My only gripe is that when clearing the lint collector, lint gets on top of the dryer due to its placement.

The dryer works well and the sensor is nice to have so it shuts down sooner than it might otherwise. I am happy with the purchase.

So far so good! I have been using the Eco dry timer instead of the actual timer like the instructions recommended and it works. Since the dryer detects moisture every-time my clothes are done and they are not wet.

I did a lot of research before I decided on this particular dryer. I wanted something simple that just drys whatever you put in it. All these fancy pretty driers with tons of gadgets do not last long, simple is better! This dryer gets super hot but you can adjust the temperature. In some of the reviews I read people complain about it getting too hot but again, you can adjust the temp. My old dryer was a Whirlpool and it lasted 26 years!!! Based on that alone....I would NEVER buy any other brand! People stay away from those fancy brands with tons of washing and drying options because will only last a few years!

Bought this because it was a great deal. It also has wrinkle shield which is a plus. I haven't had this dryer for to long but so far no problems!

Great Dryer with nice settings ours was repaired 2 times before so we decided on a new one. Great settings for medium temp.

Nice simple dryer, very efficient and no fancy bells or whistles and does the job as intended. I have a large family Of 6! It’s held up great so far unlike the smart Samsung washer we previously had.

We did not need lots of extras or drying methods. This one suits our needs and the price fit our budget.

After my old dryer broke down I started researching new dryers and was told Whirlpool was the best for my budget

This is the third set of washers and dryers I have purchased since 1974. They've all been made by Whirlpool; average lifespan of 20 years each set with only a few minors repairs (I did the work). I was glad to see the "America" word when I opened the washer lid. I realize that they were assembled in the USA and that parts may have come from here and other countries. If this set lasts as long as the other sets did, they will probably be the last ones I ever have to buy.
