Broken door handle/dryer rack must be ordered
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had to have three dryers delivered before we got one without a broken door handle. After seeing the quality of the plastic handle and the plastic clips that it is attached with, I doubt it will last more than a couple years. I wasn't able to open the door without the handle. Also, it turns out the included dryer rack isn't shipped with the dryer. Must be ordered. After following instructions on the dryer rack offer card and trying to order my "Free" dryer rack online, using online chat and calling two phone numbers, I am told I need to go make a copy of my receipt and mail it in with the card. This is inconvenient. I only have the card because I have the dryer. I only have the dryer because I paid for it. And I really don't have faith this rack will show up! Problems already and haven't even USED this dryer yet. So three days staying home for deliveries and over an hour trying to get my rack that I have already paid for. Not happy.

Disappointing quality from Whirlpool

The Maytag this unit replaced lasted over fifteen years without issue until bearings for the drum failed. Extremely disappointed with this product and with Whirlpool. Once warranties expire, you’re on your own. Thanks for the extra expense…
