Exhaust wasn't connected to the outside pipe, this caused the room to steam up and the floor was wet. I had to repair myself, and dented the top going over to reconnect the pipe that was loose.

The quality isn't the same and the dryer didn't effectively dry without running everything through twice. Far fewer cycle choices - towels came out feeling damp even after two runs.

Since our purchase we have had 12 service calls with another pending on Tuesday. Many issues with venting despite us having our vents cleaned professionally. Issues also with the unit shutting off and the list continues to grow........ We feel like a bean bag being punched around between Best Buy Customer Service Team and Whirlpool Team. To be honest, if I had a dynamite or grenade I would just blow this unit up and call it a day!!!!!! Wishing you best of luck in your purchasing decision!

We are sorry to learn of your Dryer concerns. 90% of improper drying is due to venting issues, and not problems with the dryer, as long as it is heating. Make sure the vent is not blocked, and the air is flowing properly. You can try to vacuum out the bottom of the dryer, to remove any excess lint in the bottom as that will help to reducing drying time. If you have an old bottle brush, clean out the blower area where the lint screen is and swipe the brush to remove excess lint from the blower area. If the dryer is running, then run the dryer without the venting. See how long it takes to dry without the venting in place. If it dries fine, then you know the venting is the issue. Door opened on the wrong side

Great products, but a bit noisy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This replaces a well worn 29 year old Whirlpool super capacity toploader and dryer. We bought the matching washer dryer set and stuck with Whirlpool due to personal experience with multiple appliances over the years. While I sadly don't expect to get the same service out of these new units, I am hopeful for a good overall experience. We do love this washer and matching dryer's capacity and efficiency at how the do their tasks. One area, though, that needs improvement is noise suppression. Both the washer and dryer are quite a bit noisier than their older counterparts. Other than that, zero complaints thus far.
