It dries but has shortcomings...(why no light???)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes it dries well however it has a few annoyances that people should be aware of. First, it has no light inside which is insane by today's standards... I just expect a light as the last 2 dryers i've owned had a light. I admit I did not verify this however at this price point I expected it. Second, no quick "dewrinkle" setting. It has a steam refresh, but you have to let it run the cycle because it will get the items moist. If you want to put something in for like 5 min you will have to use one of the other settings I suppose. And finally the "Check Vent" light is always on... We paid for the better rigid vent as suggested and had the ducts cleaned and the light still comes on... I have visually inspected the duct and it has no restrictions. This leads me to believe it is overly sensitive or it has a technical problem. I regret this purchase and wish I went with the Samsung instead...

This dryer has been giving me issues since day one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within the first week of the dryer being delivered, we had to have a Best Buy team member come back out and trouble shoot the squeaking noise coming from the dryer. Apparently there was a broken wheel nothing major, but still frustrating given the fact that we had just purchased it. Shortly after the wheel breaking, it started making a grinding noise and has been for months. I called the manufacturer to put a claim in and receive assistance with the issue. They sent someone out and they had the dryer up and running without the grinding noise for one day and now it’s back to grinding. We haven’t even had this dryer for a year yet. If this is the kind of quality whirlpool is putting out these days, I will not be making another appliance purchase from them or their subsidiaries again.
