It is not an improvement over the old basic washer. There is no point in a machine making sounds as it starts, loads water, etc. All of the buttons are ridiculously sensitive, thus requiring repeated touches to get the machine to work. I do not recommend this washer.

This dryer (and matching washer) thinks it is smarter than you... the human. The only way I can get this to dry clothes completely is just to use timed dry. The sensor is whack and clearly their version of dry is not actually dry. Waistbands will still be extremely damp when you let it do what it thinks it needs to do.

Every single load, regardless the size or how much we try to balance it, makes incredible noise as the drum bounces around inside the machine. It literally makes the machine wall bulge as it bounces around. We had a factory repairman come out today and he said ‘I get this complaint every day, this is just how these machines are’. He repeated that they only have 4 mounting points and the drum literally just bounces around the machine. Extremely disappointed and this ‘American made’ product and will be contacting the factory for a possible refund. We’ve had the machine a couple months, we’re a family of 3 so we don’t over load it, and it’s a terrible machine, worst we’ve had and the factory repairman confirmed it’s not a good machine - said ‘it will only last 5 to 7 years’. Interestingly, Best Buy recommended the item and company as consistent and good. Not our experience.

Towels never completely dried either but every time you would try to turn it back on the “sensing” would turn it back off. Poor Quality. Over Priced.

Only thing I don't like is the lint catcher leaves lint on the inside grate. I have to scrape it off after every use.
