Do not recommend!!!!

The regular clothes setting does not dry the clothes because the sensor is off. We have had less than 2 years and it currently won't turn on.

THE WORST!

Disappointing

Waste too much time

Large Drum and Controls, But Noisy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This replaced a Maytag unit that died after about 10 years. Overall, it's a solid unit. The controls are easy to use and it holds a lot. Two issues so far: 1. It takes a really long time to dry a load on Regular cycle. The default is Regular --> Level 2 but that doesn't fully dry my clothes. I have to put it on Level 3 and at that, it still seems to take much longer. When I first turn it on, it usually says 1:40 minutes. 2. The vent pipe on the dryer (where it connects to your external hose) is not tightly connected to the dryer itself and rattles as the drum spins. I tried putting vibration dampeners on the feet, and I ensured it's level, but nada. And it's not an issue with tightening the hose. Tried that. I had to wedge pieces of foam insulation around the aluminum protruding connector. So, it's literally a flimsily fitted hose connection causing the vibration noise. For a new unit, that's ridiculous.

Faulty Front Panel
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The front panel has stopped working four times since 4/18/19. The panel was replaced two times while covered by the warranty, and I was never offered another option. I am convinced I have a faulty unit or that the design is flawed because it allows moisture from the wet clothes to get into the panel. When this happens, the panel shuts off and the dryer continues to run until it is unplugged. The panel will not turn back on once this happens, so now that my warranty has ended I will likely have to buy an entirely different dryer despite only having owned this one for just over one year. I have never been more disappointed with a product.

Horrible Appliance and Horrible Company
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only owned this dryer since December 2020, it is now broke down for the 3rd time and Whirlpool is very difficult to go through to get answers. I didn't realize they don't cover replacement only parts...That being said it will turn off completely, nothing wrong with it, brand new system and then days/weeks later just come back on???? It's a nightmare having a BRAND NEW dryer with five adults in my household (our three kids are adult sized now) and we can't do our laundry. We have clothes hanging all over our house...so If you want your clothes dried...Just stay away from purchasing from Whirlpool....

Horrible dryer, do not buy

Sheets do not dry, waistband never get dry. We have had this less than 1 month and it is awful. Entire unit is made of plastic.
