Dented out of the box after 2 hour installation.

Waiting to get the dryer replaced as it came with multiple dents. It will be replaced by Best Buy but had to be ordered and will take a few weeks. We had Whirlpool products before and never really had any issues but had to replace both when it wasn't worth paying over $400 for a repair to the dryer. The jury is till out on both of these products.

Strange that the dryer and washer doors open opposite directions. Best buy delivery and installation is through contractors which took a month to fully install the washer/dryer-hence the low rating.

Second time (sensor issue)

Both did not fully dry using the pre set modes that use the sensor. The only thing that worked was the timed dry option. Very disappointed as I’ve always had Whirlpool. Seems like more and more items these days do not have the quality they should or used to have.

The Eco Boost cycle (preset) with Moisture Sensor stops before the clothes are fully dry, which means a few more trips up and down the stairs to the basement. If you do that cycle again it will stop sooner when the clothes are still not fully dry. So now I'm trying Quick Dry after Eco Boost stops. Instead of drying one wash with clothes and towels, I take out the towels for a second load. Not sure how that saves energy. More testing to do...Better instructions would help. If I figure it out I will do another review.

I bought as I wanted to by a better quality Anerivan made product. Our old Samsung lasted 10 years before having any real problems like this one is having after owninh for less than 2 years. The build quality is weak, and regret buying it. The only positive is that its lasting longer and less noisy than the matching washing machine that it is paired with, its worse and regret buying the pair. $2000 down the toilet.
