The wider door is a great feature that we like over our previous dryer. Dryer chime is loud but can be turned off. We have the matching washer as well.

Works well , it replaced a 22 year old Whirlpool that was still running . Since it's mate , a 20 year old washer died , we decided to replace them both .

Distorted my expensive sheets. Noisy noisy noisy! Whirlpool doesn't make them like they used to. My last dryer was a Whirlpool and it was perfect! I wish I could get it back and have it fixed. That's why I decided to go with Whirlpool again. All these rave reviews can not be for this model! You shouldn't put reviews under this model if they were for another model. Very misleading!! I bought this model based on the RAVE reviews! I won't make that mistake again.
