Dryer works great & I love the light in it. Took a minute to adjust to the door opening down versus out, but it's easy to load & unload & clothes dry to the appropriate level. So far, so good. I'm happy with it.

So far, so good. It’s just a basic, no frills dryer unlike my previously owned one which had too many options that could malfunction.

Whirlpool washer and dryer is a bit noisy, gears grind.

Ordered this on April 29th after a different purchase from Best Buy of a Maytag dryer that literally didn't work at all. This one has a hard time drying towels and things like the cuffs on sweatshirts or the waist of jeans, even after it runs on high temp for 70 minutes. Started having problems right after the 30 days expired to return it to the store, now here we are at the beginning of June and the drum is clanking and screeching so loud I can't even run the dryer. I called to see what my options are and now I'm stuck going through Whirlpool's warranty program and someone has to come out to look at it. I wish I never bought this thing. I was hoping that after picking a model that was digital (the one that didnt work) and then just going for one that has old school dials that maybe it would be built a little better, I was wrong. Save yourself the headache and RUN AWAY from this dryer.

This dryer is large capacity and does a pretty decent job of thoroughly drying as long as you don't stuff it too full. So far we are pleased with the performance.

Customer service was excellent. Installation whent smoothly. Super love the dryer! It replaced a Whirlpool I had more than 28 yrs. Which wasn't totally dead. Very satisfied with the product and service.

Dryer was installed quickly and they even used the existing ventilation from the old dryer which was removed which allowed the mandatory venting to be returned with the discarded dryer. Wife has NO issues with the new dryer and does not have to go to the laundromat anymore. PLUS PLUS

Love this dryer. The door is loud upon closing but other than that it a great machine.

I love my new dryer. It has a lot of settings for different kinds of fabric. I love the way it fluffs the clothes if you don't get them out right away, It fluffs them and gives you another reminder until you remove them.

Dryer started making a noise less than a month in. Then after 2 weeks it would not start at all. BestBuy was of NO help. I don’t even know why I purchased through them. Contacted Whirlpool and the technician they sent out had NO idea what he was doing. I knew more of what was going on with the dryer from the internet then this guy did. He didn’t even do much to the dryer, stayed for less then 15 mins and told me I had to get an electrician to check my electric wall plug. Before leaving he said he would order parts in the meantime, gave me a number to call on ETA of parts. After he left, I received an email that they were actually NOT ordering the parts and for me to contact an electrician. Never had any electrical issues before in my home. Obviously they won’t pay for the electrician so I’m out that money…anyways had someone come out to verify that it is not my home with the issue it is indeed the dryer. I don’t even want Whirlpool/ASI Appliance repairmen back in my home to fix a month old dryer. They can come pick up this dryer, resale it and use that money to retrain or rehire better techs that won’t tell you want you want to hear just to rush out of your home and end up doing nothing at all. I disputed the charge, cancelled my BestBuy credit card and will NEVER purchase another item from them again.

I received the dryer in late November- the day after Christmas I was taking a load of laundry out and I noticed a large brown area by the right vent. Looking closer I saw that the back of the dryer was warped and bending. I exchanged it for the same model. The first day after two loads the same thing. The back of the dryer was warped and bending. I also had the electrician in 3 times. Once when my original dryer broke just to make sure it wasn’t electrical. Then after the first defective Whirlpool and then again after the second defective Whirlpool. Each time he said that everything looked good and there was no issue with my wiring or outlet. I’ve had many Whirlpool products in the past- never an issue. I’ll never buy another one again. If I could give no stars I would.
