Quite a bit better than my last whirlpool dryer, which this replaced, but will I get 12 years out of it? For me, simple with appliances is always best, but this is still a little bit more complicated that my old one. I habitually overloaded my old unit, but I'm going to be really nice to this one to try to extend its life. So, seems to be an excellent product, but how reliable and durable is it? Time will tell. (Review is essentially identical to Whirlpool washer, because washer motor was broken and dryer had serious not-easily repairable issues, so I replaced them both rather than fix the dryer.)

Well after our Samsung for $650 died after only two years, we decided to go back to Whirlpool and so far so goo. Cheaper price, simple and easy. No, it doesnt sign and play music but it does dry our clothes! unlike the Samsung which we will never buy again...

My dryer broke and I looked at Best Buy for a dryer that could pick up the slack from the broke dryer. I was not only surprised to find one so quickly but they delivered and installed for me!! I was only without a dryer for 2 days!! This dryer is bigger than my old one. Dries quicker and better! I'm ecstatic to have it!!

It’s a clothes dryer and it dries clothes. It absolutely does what it is supposed to do. I do like the light that comes on when you open the door. I do not think that it is too noisy and I have not had any issues with clothes not being dry after one cycle. A great dryer in my opinion.

I bought the washer and dryer approximately about three months ago. I have washed and dried approximately a little over 20 loads of clothes. The washer and dryer works great. I bought these at a Best Buy warehouse as an open box. I got the pair for under $900. Now I can do my laundry at home without having to spend time and money going to the laundromat. The Best Buy credit card also allowed me to finance these at 0% interest for 18 months. If you’re looking for a budget, washer and dryer I definitely recommend checking out this brand and model. Both are still functioning today and have not given me any issues.

My old dryer suddenly gave out after many years of service. I knew I wanted a Whirlpool since I had a fairly new Whirlpool washer which had proven to be excellent. The new dryer is wonderful. I didn't realize how inefficient my old machine had gotten. It wasn't a Whirlpool. Very pleased with this purchase and with the Whirlpool brand.

Same as the washer - we had it in an apartment we rented and it worked super well, so we decided to buy one when we moved into our house. Also like the washer, it is simple and easy to use, with not more options than necessary.

I was a little worried replacing my older Whirlpool dryer. First I think it was just a drop wider, maybe 1/16 inch and I was very limited with space. I really like the pull down door because 1) you can put your clothes on it while you fold them and 2) it doesn't take up much space. There are lots of combinations of how to dry the clothes. Drying towels with other clothes is a little tricky. This is a moisture sensor and at first the clothes were not totally dried. So I changed the setting to more dry and hot and it worked. I think this dryer does dry the clothes in a more shorter period of time than the old dryer. The one thing I don't like is that the only way to stop the dryer is to open the door. Seems strange that there is not a stop button. It is nice that you can turn off the end of cycle system. Would have given it a 4.5 rather than a 5 but I think they just don't make appliances the way they used to so it really does deserve a 5.

Pretty good washer and dryer so far. It is a little frustrating that the water shuts off when you open the lid as its filling up. The water settings are a little confusing. The washer is very quiet compared to our last. I'm definitely happy we chose to get larger washer and dryer this time. The people who delivered my washer were very friendly and did a great job.
