Fell In love with this dryer , super easy to use and affordable

Even tho it had a dent it lasted for almost 6 years

Very pleased with the look and performance of this electric dryer. The wider door is a great feature that we like over our previous dryer. Dryer chime is loud but can be turned off. We have the matching washer as well.

Nice to know you can still get a basic dryer with a drop down door . Works well , it replaced a 22 year old Whirlpool that was still running . Since it's mate , a 20 year old washer died , we decided to replace them both .

A very good product, but wrinkle guard is quirky. When full load is done, sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. I really don't need it, but it still is a faulty function.

Doesn’t dry quickly. Easy to use but it takes a long time to dry even on highest setting

My 9 year old Maytag went out during supply chain issue, so, because I wanted dark silver we bought a Whirlpool washer. A few months later, we were moving to South Carolina, and decided to purchase the matching Whirlpool dryer even though there was nothing wrong with the 9 year old Maytag except it was quite a bit larger than the Whirlpool washer. I thought we had paid for an extended warranty with Best Buy, but evidently you have to pay every year. Fast forward 14 months, and the dryer stops working in the middle of a cycle….sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 25 minutes, no rhyme or reason. No error codes! Clothes are not dry, and dryer will not start again for at least 20 minutes. Then we go through the same nonsense again! The sensors have never worked! I called Whirlpool who agreed to let us have a service call even though we were slightly out of warranty. The service company brought, and installed a new computer board as they thought that was the problem. It wasn’t, and we still have the same problem. The service person told me that if this was not the problem, he didn’t know what it was. I called Whirlpool again, and they said they would send the service company out again. Imagine my surprise when the repair company called to reconfirm the appointment, but said Whirlpool will not pay for another service call, or installation, but only for the whatever part they’re going to try. Another call to Whirlpool, they will not pay. I canceled the appointment because there was no way I will put money into this dryer when they don’t know what the problem is! I have written 2 emails to Whirlpool corporate departments with no response. In addition I have submitted complaint forms to The Better Business Bureau, and a government agency for safe products. Waiting to see what happens with these complaints. I might have to buy a new dryer (never Whirlpool again), but will not put money into this one. This is a defective product! Evidently there was a recall for this same dryer in the United Kingdom a few years ago. They need to take responsibility. You shouldn’t be forced to take extended warranties because of inferior products.
